not familiar with all those terms, but yeah... iam from germany, so maybe the market is here a bit different.... not?

seems to be a world wide thing that people go batshit about some of these figurines.

nintendo is making shittons of money....

Germany is the place with the best sxtock, people import from Germany all the time.

There is a picture floating around here with ALL the amiibos in a store shelves. All except Little Mac that is.

By "unicorn" I mean it's super rare. It's like that all over the world, though, unlike Wii Fit Trainer and Marth, which are indeed able to be found in stores in Germany. (They're nearly impossible to find in the United States.)

Amazon had it up for about a half day. I was able to order one.

Hey everyone I'm kinda new to the amiibo bandwagon, but I know about the rare ones. They are be rare now, but has Nintendo ever talked about additional production runs for them?

It seems like Nintendo could easily make more once amiibos start fading in popularity a bit and people who don't want to pay scalper prices could get their hands on them. But if Nintendo hasn't said anything I guess it would be a gamble not to get them now.

They have officially announced more stock of Marth for his compatibility in the upcoming 3DS Codename S.T.E.A.M game. Beyond that, there is nothing official but most of us are hoping so.
 
I plan to get to Target at 5 am on Sunday. I'm sure I'll get a Rosalina, but I want Bowser, Toon Link and Shiek also. Of course I have my pre-orders at Gamestop should I not be successful in getting my hands on those ones. I'm tempted to at least try to get a Lucario on Friday, only because I don't trust TRU shipping to get me my online order in as good condition as I want. I've heard lots of bad things on here about that.

They haven't talked about additional production runs for Amiibos outside announcing Marth restocks in the recent Nintendo Direct, but there's been evidence of it quietly happening, like how there were several Captain Falcons in all the Wave 3 shipments that Toys R Us got last week. Also, Diddy Kong was rare shortly after Wave 2 was released, but now he's common, probably thanks to restocks. And now Reddit says there are Targets getting Marths and Wii Fit Trainers, so ...

Apparently there is villager and marth about 16 miles from me, I don´t have a car lol.

Huh, maybe I'll check my Target before or after class since I was heading to GS anyways to ask them about the amiibo situation/getting notified and ask about their Codename Steam demo codes.

Edit: Or maybe I won't, considering that one site where you can enter the DPCI number says there's none in Michigan still.

I hope I'm wrong but I just have this feeling TRU is going to get any remaining pokemon as exclusives. Wave 4 is taking forever to preorder in the US so I'm guessing they're setting up stores for exclusives again (dam you NOA), and Charizard, Greninja & Jigglypuff will be TRU exclusive.
 
Went by my local Target just to check it out and see what the situation was on Saturday and saw that they had about 30 Marios, some Donkey Kongs, a few Peaches and that was it. I spoke to the guy in the video game department and started off by saying, Hi, do you know anything about Amiibos? He was like oh yeah, I'm the Amiibo guy in this store. So I asked him when they were getting the Rosalinas in and he replied, oh we won't be getting those. I'm pretty sure those are Gamestop exclusives... I don't think I'm ever going back to that Target if he is their Amiibo guy.
 
OK, I checked. They have available one WIi Fit trainer and one Fox. Its in the San Diego area. I´ll put the data to call them and ask to be hold here, just quote to see:

In the very rare chance my Target actually DOES have Villager, perhaps I could give that one away via Modbot contest or something since I know how many people are looking for that & how rare he is.

Again, assuming that tracker site is actually accurate. Otherwise, I'll be back on the lookout for a possible Shulk, Ike, or Rosalina for my giveaway.
 
Oh crap. I'm in Texas where the trinity are supposedly popping up. Did any of yall use the online inventory or just called in? I'm tempted to just drive there just in case. Why do I leave work so late in the day? D:

DCPI tracker is showing me 3 Marths in stock at the Target in Plano, TX. Is anyone close by? If you get there I'd pay you for one of them. I'm in Denton.

Also 2 WFT at West Plano Target and 2 in Irving, TX. I'd gladly pay for one of those as well.
 
How are you stock Wizards tracking these? Can you fill me in or check any retailers in St. Louis? There are a bunch of each retailer here, I am mobile and have the capital to go them right now.

Likely inaccurate. Tracker said there were 3 Marths at my nearest location...I was just there and there wasn't.

When this happen, ask them to check in the back, look if they are hidden in another isle, or check the returns area, normally the system is updated live, so if they are not there its either an error in the system or someone stole them or have them in hand.

If I manage Villager (again, not getting my hopes up), then I might do it this weekend. Otherwise, it'll probably be around the 13th since I figured Shulk be the most rare & therefore the most appropriate for the giveaway to show my thanks to the community. Otherwise, if I can't get Shulk, I might aim for Rosalina or Ike.

Dear God, there are two Targets in Northeast Ohio with three Wii Fit Trainers each. And like eight of them have one to three Villagers. IT'S HAPPENING


[edit] and two stores have Fox back in stock!!
