Yes! That is one I needed for my girlfriend and I promised one for a fellow gaffer who wanted it as a Christmas present for her daughter, who wants to trade me the last one for a Marth?

Bleh I ordered on the 6th when it said it was available but then I got a notice it was backordered later on. I can't believe they're still finding some to ship.

Hmm, I just checked, december 6, just intermediately after Nintendo said they may make more in the future in a way to vague way and it was clear all the stores where sold out at retail, I decided to check online and noticed only TRU had them for shipping, managed to submit them, there was a get 10 dollars off with a purchase of 30 of more, so I took those and a Link, got the 10 dollars off the link. Inmediatly after villagers orders closed. Link was send immediately but TRU told me "there has been an unexpected delay in the shipment of the following item(s)" and of course it was my villagers, fastforward to today and the email with shipment was confirmed! All there is to do now is wait for UPS to not screw me over, but chances are really high!.

Sorry to hear that, I want to trade the only one extra I have for a Marth (Only one I'm missing to complete the set)
 
I have had all of wave 2 pre ordered at the local best buy for over a month but this whole changing of release dates has me on edge. I am tempted to just find a little mac, zelda, and diddy tomorrow elsewhere and cancel the pre order...

No Diddy though and Zelda is still a preorder. Weird.

Also worth pointing out that Fox is not available online anymore.

Finally got a Little Mac amiibo but by god was this a pain in the ass to get. I call Future Shop this morning and ask them to put Little Mac on hold for me. They assured me they wouldn't sell it if it wasn't me but when I get there, they told me they already sold it to someone else. They only got 2 in so I could not just get one from the shelf. To top it all off, they kept us waiting 40 minutes before admitting they screwed up. The manager told me that there was one somewhere else and that they would ship it on their money and would give me a discount for the trouble. I'm not complaining about the compensation, on the contrary. But it's outright incompetence to sell an item that was put on hold.

Eventually I went to a Toys R Us and they had one Little Mac left so I bought it. I'll likely have two Little Mac's sometime next week, provided something doesn't go wrong.

Nice find. Before anyone panics, Fox is still widely available at TRU, Target and Walmart, same for Samus. But if you want to pick them I'll say it might be a good idea to do it now. If rumors are correct Fox, Samus and either Donkey Kong or Kirby are the next to go to give room for Captain Falcon, Luigi and Pit.

Oh, and word is in the streets that Pit is going to be the rarest one of those 3, call yourselfs warned.

Any Gamestop employee confirm this? I remember a post from some anonymous GS employing saying that for wave 2, Diddy and Little Mac will be in short supply and lo' and behold it turned out true.

May jump ahead and preorder Pit + Falcon
 
Is Ike coming back up on Amazon any time soon?

What are the chances Toon Link will have scarcity problems like Villager and Marth? I know Ike will have this problem.
 
I didn't get pre-orders in on Pit, Captain, or Little Mac. Going to try to see what TRU, Target, BestBuy, and GameStop have for stock tomorrow.
 
Wow thanks whoever posted that Little Mac Gamestop link. I thought I missed him.

It definitely looks like Fox is starting to sell out as well. No longer available online at Gamestop, Target, Amazon, or Best Buy but is available at Walmart. Most stores do still have pick ups available though.
 
I think I'm going to take the chance and not preorder. I'll go next week to see if I can find a Falcon and Little Mac. I'd much rather buy these in person.

Yeah don't know if it's true but I'm a sucker and not taking chances on missing out again. So here's to more money I don't have =/ At least I have Gamers Club Unlocked through Best Buy to save a few bucks.

I feel like pretty soon it's just going to be Mario, Link, and Pikachu plus whatever is out for the current waves. Hell maybe it will just be empty Amiibo shelves 90% of the time. Then Nintendo can drip feed any of them and sell out instantly.
 
Ugh, so all of wave 2 will be available in the US tomorrow? I thought the second half was backdated til the end of the year:..

I was gonna get Lucario earlier today, but then I was like "ehh whatever I don't like pokemon that much". & now I regret it :(

I bought a DK yesterday and threw him in against my other amiibos and some computer fighters in an 8-player smash for 40 minutes and now he's level 30something. tight.
 
Frys.com has the Pit amiibo still up for pre-order (with a ship date of 12/31).

I'm trying to order it, but every time I try to confirm my order it redirects me to the beginning of the checkout and I can't complete it. not sure what's up with that.
