Saw a not-too-drunk Samus earlier today and grabbed it...

*Sigh*

This will be a never ending cycle of spending money, I feel it.
 
I shouldn't have a problem getting Amiibos from Japan right? Besides price.
Marth and Villager... so expensive.
 
Sorry if this has been asked but haven't found an answer yet, has there any word at all on if there will be an upcoming Amiibo for Ness? Also is Mega Man supposed to be in wave 3?
 
If Luigi is not that rare, at least that's a relief. :p

Freaking have preorders from Canada, UK, Germany and US....geeze...and I wasn't interested in getting them all...at first. :/

Mega Man is in wave 3, and it's assumed that all Smash characters will eventually become amiibo (at least that's what Nintendo wants).
 
So I was looking at Cpt. Falcon amiibo on Amazon.it... Great, it's avaible and guaranteed to be delivered on the 18th.
Then I leave for 5 minutes and it is on backorder... fuck -_-
 
I'm torn regarding amiibo. As cool as they are I won't ever be able to afford them all, so I can't really compile a collection. There's the option of getting selected ones, but which? I like Legend of Zelda games, but the Link figure has a rubbish pose. Meta Knight is a cool character and one of my Smash mains but will he have any use outside of Smash? Mario is Nintendo's icon and will likely have many amiibo uses but will there be different versions of the character released?

I'm thinking of leaving it until after E3 to see what Nintendo has planned but all this talk of linked runs worries me. I just have no idea how to approach this. If I could afford it I'd just get them all and put them on a shelf but, alas, funds are tight.
 
Catching up with the thread WTF with Rosalina? There's NO WAY they would only print like 10 copies of her! No nonononono!!!! I do NOT want to pay scalping prices AKA: why didn't I just use AmiAmi etc?!
 
So Luigi is out now? Did we expect this? What are the dates for the rest of Wave 2? I think I have Pit coming from Target (it's a gift) and Captain Falcon and Luigi are pre-ordered at Gamestop.
 
Ugh, guess I'll have to keep checking in here more often :(

Even Skulk, Meta Knight, and Lucario at LEAST had several days open of opportunity! I'm going to go with the glitch theory. She HAS to come back!!
 
Soo... GAME UK sold me a Pit Amiibo yesterday.

Shulk still appears to me as elegible to add to cart, but the graph earlier said he ran out?

I got him yesterday as a shipping delivery, should I change it to store-in pickup?
 
HEY CANADA: if you didn't manage to snag a Metaknight amiibo preorder from Best Buy (they sold out in minutes, and you can't preorder in-store) Future Shop is now taking preorders online! Get them while you can!

Absolutely not. There was a picture. I have no reason to doubt that gaffer. But if the chance to preorder did occur last night, it is gone by now. That much is 100%. I refuse to believe, however, that the chance won't come back. My fingers are ready. My fingers' BODYs are ready.

Yeah, the one morning I was unable to refresh EBGames.ca they sell out of Shulk. Go figure. :/

I'm still refreshing in the hopes that they'll allow more pre-orders, but I'm quickly losing hope. I do have one pre-ordered from Gamestop.com, but I'd rather not pay the additional +$30 to have it shipped here [possibly even more than that].

Just buy the ones you want. That's what I'm doing. I've decided I'll collect all the Zelda and Metroid ones, as well as some other favorite chars that I doubt will get another amiibo anytime soon (Ike, Captain Falcon, etc.).

Certain characters I really like, such as Yoshi, or most of the Mario roster I'm waiting on for alternate amiibos, as I'm not a big fan of the Smash designs for those chars. I'd rather get Mario and the gang as part of the traditionally designed Mario series Miyamoto has basically said will arrive alongside Mario Party, and I'm hoping there's a Yarn Yoshi amiibo alongside that game.

Didn't know it costed that much to ship between U.S and Canada, or is this a retailer thing?
 
So did the stores that had tons of Luigi have any Falcon or Pit to sell? Or were they already sold out by the time you got there? Or did they just not have any at all and Luigi was all they got in?

It's very much YMMV. A friend of mine who's a retail rep for the state (New Hampshire) posted on Facebook that a TRU in the area he was working today, Nashua, had him on shelves this morning. I immediately called the TRU close to home and they didn't have any. :(

Profound sadness, but nowhere near as profound as the possibility I missed a microscopic window to get Rosalina from Target. I'll be pissed if that doesn't open up again.
