We have a whole thread dedicated to helping each other out but I can understand how you feel.

Just sucks to know there are 14 just sitting there and no way to get them.

What store was it specifically and such? Will give them a call to hold one and see if another gafer can pick it up and ship it to me.
 
Apparently theres 2 left for non preorder. He said a couple others called 5
In before me. Ill try to get both. Wish me luck im about 15

I have 3 of these now and am toying with the idea of a 4th. Any recommendations? Who's "rare" now? I haven't been following for the last 4 or 5 days.

I'm in the states too, so obviously Marth and Villager are out, but I'm not really a fan of them anyway. Pit looks kinda cool and he seems like he might be out there now? Also debating Samus or Fox since they both look neat.

Thoughts?

I'm surprised this news didn't get more attention in this thread. This will be the first game beyond Smash to feature in-game Amiibo support for Wii Fit Trainer and Marth.

Pit rarity is to be seen, but if you want him, grab him since there's no guarantee. Samus isn't very rare. Fox is starting to be rare now, but is still available online.

Little Mac seems to be the obvious answer so far. Maybe Diddy Kong.Luigi and Zelda are pretty much all over the place (comparatively). Falcon and Pit are starting to show up in places, so hopefully everyone can find them soon.

I found Little Mac and Diddy Kong at Toys R Us way back on December 11th. That day, there were still quite a few Little Macs. I got the last Diddy Kong, so I thought he was going to be the one to get. I haven't seen a single Little Mac since then. Diddy Kong has been few and far between, but I have spotted him.

Little Mac / Captain Falcon has been dead in my area for at least a week now with constant checking/driving, might have to look to importing soon
 
Just called a Gamestop and they said they had one Pit left over. I asked her to hold onto it for me and she said she would!! END ALREADY, WORK!

I also saw a Luigi at ToysRUs earlier. They said they weren't supposed to be out until the 31st but since the system accepted it, I could buy it. BS? Who cares! I got my Luigi!
 
Managed to grab a Pit at Montgomery Mall in Rockville, MD. They had 2 more when we left (30+ mins ago). Probably all gone by now.

That place is an absolute madhouse today with it being 3 days until Christmas. I was scared for my life.

Edit: Also no gamestop in my area would hold for me. We called several and the ones that had extras refused to do so.

While people are snagging them they seem to be grabbed very quickly off shelves.

Hell I had gotten my pit and Mac literally out of their shipment boxes.

Q: I am very interested in your poo luigi, but I must ask, has there been extensive DNA testing to determine that this is infact poo from Mario? I am afraid that this is possibly peach poo, or even worse, Bowser poo, from all the times this guy brown noses bowser to get mario away so that he can have a good time with Rosalina while Mario is out trying to save peach. 21-Dec-14

A: Unfortunately, since this is still factory sealed, I have no way of truly knowing whose poo this may rightfully be. I have contacted Nintendo several times, but unfortunately they have not returned my e-mails, calls or carrier pigeons (and those things are expensive!). At least for now, it shall have to remain a mystery...I cannot bring myself to open this porcelain packaged Pooigi!

It's definitely going to be Little Mac. Outside of like that initial shipment where stores got 2-3 figures there has been nothing at all whereas Zelda and Diddy have been re-stocked it seems.
 
I wonder what the situation for Wave 2 is among independent/mom n' pop stores. I was able to get all 12 Wave 1 figures from a local place with really no issues. I think I pre-ordered them a week or two before release (along with the Smash/Gamecube controller/adapter bundle. However, they don't think they are going to be able to get Wave 2 AT ALL!

Just snagged a Captain Falcon. What a rush! Thanks so much for the heads up!

Now I just need to somehow get Pit. I don't know how I'm going to get Pit.............I called my TRU today and they didn't have him in yet....or they were sold out before the guy even noticed them : (
