Wow. Hopefully they have a decent amount available in-store when they launch considering it's their exclusive and presumably they got them to drive people into the store, but this is me not holding my breath.

Just picked up Diddy Kong at Target. Paint job is pretty good too, there were some really derpy eyed ones there but the one I got looked good.
I think I may just give in and try to get all of these amiibos.
I'm already at 13/18 from the first two waves and have 7/11 from wave 3 preordered so yeah... lol

Yeah the detail is pretty good, the gun and holster, the belt details , the Falcon Logo on the back looks really good too.
Falcons I ordered from Gamestop showed up. Both boxes were damaged badly due to poor packaging. There was plenty of air pacs, but one for example was smashed underneath a bottom flap of the box. Makes no sense. I don't usually care personally as I plan to open mine. However, these I got to trade with others.

Had Rosalina in my cart, went through the whole checkout process, site crashed when being transferred back from Paypal.
I completed my collection last week and Little Mac and Villager were the final additions. I paid a little over the mark for them, but those two have become increasingly hard to find in the UK.
Just to be safe I have pre-ordered all of the new ones coming out in January and February. They all look great lined up in number order.

Snagged myself a Captain Falcon! I'm mainly stoked about the Mario Kart costume it unlocks. I can pretend I'm playing F-Zero now!
The amiibo sections are tore up in my town. I watched an old lady buy a Yoshi and Zelda from Toys R Us. I don't think I will ever see a Little Mac, Pit or Captain Falcon in the wild.
I hope Best Buy holds my Pit, especially since I'll be out of town on release.

I think Target is just messing with us now. I can see the pre-order button too, but it keeps telling me I already have the allowed amount in my cart, but when I go to my cart it's empty. :/

Best Buy preparing my Pit, Luigi, and Captain Falcon for shipping!
I got my Diddy from them in a box and my family said the two they ordered also arrived in a box not a padded envelope. Really happy with how this worked out. Don't mind getting mine a week or two later if they arrive in a box again!

So I see the toys r us eBay store is getting negative feedbacks for canceling amiibo sales.

This is a little bit off-topic, but thought I'd share. I'm a huge, HUGE fan of Rare. No idea how much. So I finally turn on Smash Bros. Wii U for the for the first time today and you know how you receive a random trophy at the very beginning? This is what I received:

They somehow know, but of my starter trophies in both versions were the F-Zero ones.
In the 3DS Version, I got a Mettaur. For the Wii U Version, I got Candy Kong as my first trophy.

Yep. Boxes were all pretty much flawless. Complete turnaround from the padded envelope crap I had two weeks ago.

Got a Japanese Pit at retail price, so I guess I'm all caught up for now on the figures that I want. I'm still tempted to look for a North American Pit, Villager, Wii Fit Trainer, and Marth, but I probably should just not worry about it. I also pre-ordered Japanese Lucario, Metaknight, and Rosalina because I got into these after all of those pre-orders were gone =/
Ordered a Pit with the TRU email, after they cancelled my initial order. Marth arrived from Amazon UK and I had Captain Falcon ordered from TRU Ebay way back when. As long as those two show up, I'll be happy and complete with Wave 2. Funny enough, I still don't own the commons- DK, Kirby, Mario or Pika. I'm thinking maybe I should get on that, but I'm tempting my waiting game!
Oh, and Target's Rosalina broke my heart. Ordered her from Play Asia, still upset.

Yeah, my Falcon was awesomely packaged as well. The box was much bigger than I was expecting.
Oh snap, I didn't realize the Toys R Us discount gives me the amiibo's for $10.99 instead of $13.99.

My amiibo family is shaping up nicely. Just went ahead and picked up Kirby today. I think he may just be the best amiibo, his cuteness has no bounds. Hopefully I can find pit and captain soon.Can't wait to see wave 4.
I dunno maybe I'm sick in the head but I kinda enjoy the thrill of the hunt.
