Anyone else check out the Amiibo stands today? They had massive restocks in my local retailers (Toronto). Samus and Fox are back. None of the rare 3 seem to have been reprinted

Little Mac seemed to get a downgrade. Luigi looks the best out of all the Wave 2 ones.
Edit: Diddy Kong has derpy eyes, WTF?
I preordered Little Mac when he was first available but that was back in October. You can preorder all 3 on BestBuy.com right now if you don't want to chance it.

I still haven't grabbed Smash (mostly because I'm going to be playing it at other people's places for the forseeable future) but I grabbed a Samus one the other day just to have it. Its on my bookshelf next to my copy of 30 Days of Zero Suit Samus now

The real problem is the quality is all over the place with them. You really have to go to stores and pick them out.

The only one I really want is Megs, and I'm afraid I'm not the only one. So I pretty much have to pre-order him once available, and I hate knowing that it's such a gamble quality wise.
I only bought Samus so far (in a store) and seriously 80% of the figures I saw were drunk ones.

Yeah, luckily Best Buy already decided the amount they are ordering for each wave.
My strategy is pre-ordering it and then picking the one I like the most. They are pretty good about letting you choose the figure.
As people guessed, they are phasing out WFT, Villager, and Marth for Wave 2.
My guess is Pit and Little Mac are the limited ones for Wave 2.
Honestly they managed to mess up Kirby. Kirby who is pretty much a round circle. The quality assurance is lacking compared to Skylanders/Infinity.

I think it really depends on the place.
The rarer here was definitively Villager. I visited 8 shops near the release day, and I only saw one. Kirby was second with only two (and based on the price rise on Amazon, I'd say Kirby is definitively undershipped by a large margin). I saw Marth and WFT in most shops...
Rumors says that Villager, WFT and Marth may not see a restock (in close future, or ever ?) so they probably become rare, at least for some time.
With so much talk about bad quality, I was kinda surprised to see that nearly all of those I've seen were good, barring some really small defects in paint.
I still prefer buying them in stores, though, just in case. I want at least Pit and Zelda, and probably Falcon (and possibly Mac if he's good). I hope I'll be lucky...

Received Marth in the mail today from Amazon. Should I open him up?
Saw the local Nintendo Rep at Wal-Mart this evening. Asked about the Marth amiibo and was told that him, Villager, and WFT were a single print run and there would be no more made. Also told me the GameCube adapter would be coming back anytime between the end of the month and the middle of January, but stores will be allocated a maximum of 3 or 4 each.
Take that as you will. Oh, and this was in Brampton, Ontario.
So, it looks like I've missed Marth. My Uncle passed away on the 20th, and he didn't really have anyone except for my mom, brother, and myself. After running around trying to get his funeral taken care of, I think we sent him off well. That is what makes missing out on Marth so bittersweet.

Randomly took Villager over to a friends house and we played 6 person smash plus him. He went from level 24 to 50 in only a few maps, and holy cow did he get beastly by the end.
We basically had to call a truce and go after him otherwise he would just go beastmode on us.

I'd be glad if they split them up actually... Hopefully will make it easier to locate each one. I stupidly didn't preorder any of these and am kinda panicking that I'm going to miss one now. Amazon has a lot of those sold out still.

Nevermind... Bestbuy still has them up for pre-order! Just ordered all 6. Now to decide if I want to order any extras to remove from boxes..
