Sadness. Another Marth order cancelled due to not actually having it 😔

Long shot but does anyone want to trade a Marth for an unopened Wii Fit Trainer 😁

As always Nintendo over estimates Mario's popularity in certain aspects.
That new Jakks Pacific Nintendo line did the same shit with 6 Mario to 2 Links per shipment now all those stores are sitting on loads of Mario figures that won't move.
 
Had a dream that a target got a bunch of amiibos earlier but they were all unfinished in certain ways.
Such as Rosalina with no hair. Don't know wth is going on but I guess my subconscious wants me to buy more amiibos.

I called them on Sunday. They keep telling me to check their twitter as to when they will have them in stock. I mention, do you also put when they sell out? They said, No but we will do that. I haven't seen any movement regarding amiibo's on their twitter.

I called today at 11am but they didn't have any.

I guess I'll be doing a daily call.

Edit: Also, according to the twitter, last time they had them was December 5th, but who knows if that is accurate.
 
Wowie, I have not seen a fancy Amiibo display over here in Europe. Tha Amiibo are usually just stacked on a shelf with the gaming accessories or whatever. Skylanders often have a rack of their own. One toy store had a cardboard display that stood a couple of meters from the gaming section because they either couldn't fit it, or didn't know where it belonged. :I
 
So I bought all of wave 1 and 2 of Fox, Mario and Link so I could at least keep them sealed but use the second ones. I put them into Smash, been messing around with them for a bit and now I'm wondering why the fuck I wasted my money on this, WHAT HAVE I DONE?!

If you sell the sealed marth, villager, and wft you'll make back a huge chunk of that money.
 
I wish I could meet one of these people who are paying $100 for a marth. I'm just curious what kind of person that is.

collector/enthusiast who happens to have so much money that $100 is meaningless?

I can imagine some people like that exist, but I wouldn't have thought there'd be so many people in that category as to set the standard market rate at close to $100 (at the moment).

when i see those prices i just assume they're actually selling incredibly slowly and scalpers are very optimistic.

no, it's a fact. search the "sold" listings on ebay. people are buying them at this rate. this is the reality we're in. marth is $80 - $100 and villager just slightly less.
 
Everyone in here knows how to fix warped issues on their Amiibo correct?
I have mentioned in a few different threads how to but that was before I owned them myself.
Anyway just confirming that it does work perfectly.

I think it's people who are speculating on the price. Buy now at $100, sell later for a profit. I bought at $40 when the rumors started because I figured the price was only gonna go up. Now I'm glad I did.
 
I'll ask again since its a few pages back now I believe, but does anyone have a Little Mac pre-ordered with amazon that actually has a shipping date?

so local shops here in chile have only two amiibos that are unavailable. Of course its marth and villager. Maybe they are really low shipments of those two, because the other figures are stocked pretty well.

So I just got an email from Best Buy saying my pre-order release date for Little Mac is 12/14/14. That contradicts everything I've been hearing about Best Buy not releasing them until the 19th.

What exactly is going on? I only got this email for Little Mac, not the others I have pre-ordered (Captain Falcon, Pit)
 
Just got an update from Best Buy on my wave 2 preorders: Diddy, little Mac, and Zelda will be available Sunday the 14th. No update on the rest of the wave though.
 
So, I got some PMs concerning Wii Fit Trainer and I haven't replied to any. Reason is that upon checking my envelopes, they don't fit. I will have to buy new ones in order to ship them, so I will unfortunately have to raise the price from 20 USD to 23 USD to cover the new envelopes and the gas to get them (I'm truly not profiting from this, but l can't afford to lose money either, just want to help a GAFer out).

So 23 USD PayPal gift for WFT shipped anywhere in the continental USA. I have 2 (3, but that one is mine only to leave my side if someone trades for Marth), so if any of you would still be interested, just PM me.

Again, I apologize for not replying to the PMs I got, I just thought it important to be publicly transparent about my oversight.

Right? Might have to search for those first three today

Oh good, so the official date is 12/14 then. Do not know why Toys R Us is getting it early, guess because they are selling it a dollar more?
Edit: Actually I think some shipments are coming 12/14 and some others 12/19 hence the different dates.
