Considering I was able to order villager, marth, and WFT yesterday from amazon.de, I don't think we have anything to worry about concerning the 4 exclusive Amiibos from wave 3. If somebody checks online and follows this thread every day in the days prior to them being launched, they'll have no problem finding somewhere to preorder from. Of course ordering from overseas is a little more expensive and the packaging is slightly different, for those who care about that sort of thing.
 
I have to admit, I think I'm enjoying fighting my amiibo more than fighting online. Especially 8 player smash with high leveled amiibo. I feel like I'm even starting to resent/have rivalries with certain amiibo >.>

I am so gonna miss the moment rosalina's preorder comes up because I'll probably be doing something else and not have an internet connection :T

Question: Whats the status say on any Best buy shipping pre-orders for you guys? I got status not available on Mac and Zelda but got an email saying 19th for mac.

Update: The biggest Gstop in my city had one lil mac left on their shelves, The couple smaller ones simply said they dont get anything hardly outside of big releases/preorders. So smaller Gamestops might be out of luck as far as inventory space.
 
I was at my gamestop when they got a wave 2 Amiibo case. By "case" it was one zelda and one little mac. So I got both of those.

My Zelda at BB is ready for pick up it says but not till tomorrow. Mac is still next Friday the rest all pushed out for me but I didn't get diddy.
 
Been playing as Rosalina for a while and she's a pretty awesome and unique character. Can't wait to get her amiibo
if I even get the chance

Quick question, what does Rosalinas down special do? Is it like a counter?
 
I asked yesterday but didnt get any replies. Does anyone have any details on Pre-Orders from Best Buy that show "status not available"? The Wave 2 Amiibos that were delayed show 12-30 but the ones that have already released show "status not available".

I've looked and can't find any Wave 2 in my town and Gamestop confirmed they did put them out but only received 2 Macs and 2 Zeldas. Going to check in tge next town over today while being in that area but, I'm starting to get concerned why they haven't updated the info or shipped them.
 
Ok, so tomorrow I'm going to see if I can get Samus and Fox from the worst best buy in the city, if not I'll go to TRU and make use of that B1G1 40%, those two are the ones I'm worried about I might miss out.

I also need to buy a few zeldas for some pals, people seem to not care about diddy here, just like they did with villager, ha! Once its rare they'll be begging for one.
 
Just got back from Target, they had more Little Macs out than any other character (7) no diddy kongs or Zeldas but they restocked Donkey Kong.

I preordered 5 Amiibos from this wave back on 10/8 (for shipping, not in-store pickup), and it looks like my order is kind of a mess :-( Falcon, Pit, and Luigi all have a status that reads "release date is 12/30/2014", and Little Mac and Zelda both say "status not available". I haven't read this whole thread yet to see if that's normal-ish, but I'm just hanging in there at this point...

It can draw items and Luma towards her (assuming you didn't launch Luma with her neutral B), negate items thrown at her (so say somebody throws a pokeball at you, it will cause the pokeball to drop at her feet and not activate), and nullify projectiles. There may be more to it, but that's what I've noticed.
 
Just went into Best buy and they had 1 Mac 2 Diddy and 10 Zelda. Try to buy a few and they seriously took them and walked them to the back. The cashier said sorry he couldn't sell them till tomorrow. I think that is BS because they are on the shelf and toys r us is already selling them.

The part that has me more upset is he says there are tons in the back and if I come tomorrow I can get them. I call BS. nobody has a ton of Diddy and Mac.

The part that freak mes out is I have the 3 preordered through a different BB. Zelda and Diddy are available for pickup tomorrow but Mac was delayed till the 19th. Why? If another BB has them why are they delayed? I feelany of is have that email. I have a pic of them too.

The handling of this is shit. This is why I say grab them when you see them even if u have preorders.

First Nintendo made us refresh the pages for the Smash Dojo.

Then for the Smash PotD.

Now is freaking 13 dollar toys.

Goddamit Target get that Rosalina up for preorder already.

See my above post. They are fucking up hard at BB. They had all 3 sitting there. I just called my other BB and told them the story. They said relax if I have a preorder it's fine. BS

She told me if Mac is there tomorrow buy him and cancel my preorder. Great answer. Think she could have just fixed the problem.

That's the exact reason I didn't do store pickup for my preorders. I don't trust them at all. I'll take my chances with beat up boxes over not ever getting them.
 
Bought the Link one the other day. After seeing all the horrible images of bad sculpts and paint jobs I was surprised to see that all the ones at my Walmart looked great. My only problem is that for the price they are a little small, at least one more inch would be nice.
 
Nintendo UK shop dispatched my Luigi, Cpt. Falcon, Diddy Kong, Zelda, Pit, and Little Mac yesterday.

At least they only dispatched them in 3 separate batches this time and not individually.
 
Best Buy just delayed Diddy till the 17th!!!!! WTF!!! I had them in my hand there just an hour ago. It makes no sense!

Keep in mind that the B1G1 40% ends "tonight", depending on your timezone.

Unless it was extended. :p
 
ToysRus only fulfilled one out of two of my Store pickup order for Diddy :/ Got it at 40% off though. Finally I saw Zeldas in the wild and there were a ton. No Macs.
 
Best Buy is really freaking me out right now. I pre-ordered all of wave 2 and wave 3 from them.

A few days ago I got 3 emails moving my shipping date for Diddy, Zelda, and Mac to the 15th. Today I get two emails saying the shipping has been moved to the 27th. No word about Zelda. I have this funny feeling they will be delayed again and then cancelled.
 
So here are the ones I don't have from the first two waves:

Pit
Mario
Donkey Kong
Yoshi
Pikachu
Fox
Luigi


What are the odds I can get these by the end of the year? I'm not made of money and I have to space out my purchases. I'm really only worried about Pit and Fox....I think the rest will probably be forever easy to get. I purposely didn't buy these first for that very reason.

Yesterday I got trapped in the rain so I wanted to rest today... but I just checked and Best Buy is not accepting orders online for Fox...

I have to go now.
 
So Best Buy emailed me earlier today saying Diddy and Zelda will be available tomorrow but then they just emailed me saying that Diddy got delayed to the 17th? What the fuck, Best Buy!
 
We put out lil Mac and Zelda at work yesterday. Diddy was the smallest batch (only 4 total units) and people from the back scooped him up before he got on the shelf. Oh and my friend bought a Zelda that has both her legs completely broken off the pedestal still in the packaging lol. Quality control on these is really horrible.

I'll try and get a pic sometime if he doesn't get one on here already

Edit: he also found a WFT and marth hidden in the back and scooped them up. Apparently there was a villager too but he got put out and sold quick
 
Anyone else been doing in-store pickup at Best Buy pre-orders?

Do they charge you when you pick them up or when you pre-order them?
