Most are pretty cool but some aren't that great.
Targets just started to show Zelda as in stock today, I went this morning and picked one up.
I found a Donkey Kong Amiibo over the weekend with reversed/upsidedown packaging. Posted a few photos of it here...

So i just got this bad mofo from my girl for Christmas. I don't know how she got him (she had it at least for a couple of days).
Checked it from all sides, it's perfect. No smudges, or bad colour. My first amiibo!

Anyone know if there's going to be an amiibo sale in the future? I really wished I bought all of wave 1 at TRU when they did 3 for $30. I probably should pre-order the rest, but I'm going to take a chance and wait it out in hope for another sale. I'm only preordering the exclusives. Come on Rosalina!

Does anyone know when Toys R Us Canada, and EBGames will be opening pre-orders for wave 3? I'm thinking of just pre ordering on Amazon since they are the only place taking pre orders in Canada.
You may be able to scratch off the aluminum sticker through the hole in the card without having to cut open the plastic! YOU COULD TRULY USE IT IN THE BOX!!
That's very odd, there should be no street date on these Amiibos.

Some best buys have street dates. I've seen from the 17-19th. Not sure if any are selling wave 2 before that.
The two slowest updating sites in Canada? No one knows. TRU never even put Wave 2 on their site.
Preorder from Amazon first. You can cancel later.
Yeah I've got it up on auction right now. I'll be curious to see where it goes.

I did just that Bowser and Ike. Bowser has an actual estimate for delivery though I'm not sure if that means I'll actually get him. Ike has no such timeline.

maybe best buy is doing this on purpose to have stock after other places sell out.
Speaking of a dust free display case, I do have a shelf I'd like to display them on, but I would like to get a plastic casing around them.
Does anyone have any recommendations as to where I can get a little plastic rectangular box/cover to put over them on the shelf?

Well there is a second trophy, the alternative one, which has a better pose, but i'm still happy with this. He looks so fabulous when he tries to jump like a 5 year old girl
Aren't their alternate trophies Final Smashes? If they had used those and put in more detail/quality (but cost more, ofcourse), they could be among some of the best looking Nintendo figures.
Thanks for the tip I found it at target. They were just putting em out when I got there. They had about 4 Lil macs, 8 Zelda's and 8 diddys.
Zelda is rare?
A lot of those would be impractical, like Charizard and Luigi.

Thinking ahead, I really hope that Bowser (because of his size) has the same nice heavy weight that Donkey Kong has. I love the DK amiibo just because of the weight, feels good in your hand.
I looked at 30-50 Samus' at different stores in order to find a paint job that I was satisfied with. When I finally opened it last night, I realized that it leans to the left. Somehow I had totally missed that this defect existed and I didn't even consider it when I was Samus shopping. FML.
Dude, he was my first amiibo and I feel the EXACT SAME WAY.
I'm gonna try to stick mainly with Mario characters. I've got Mario, peach, Yoshi.

I opened mine last night and I was shocked at the weight. I opened Little Mac, DK, and Samus and DK weighs significantly more than the others.
Don't worry... I'm fairly certain that all 50 that you checked were leaning to the left, too.
I had the dumbest experience at Toys R Us yesterday. I picked up one of the last few Fox figures they had, with a Zelda for the B1G1 40% off deal. When I got home, I realized Fox's arm was twisted nearly backwards, and it looked horrible.
I went back in with the Fox and receipt just to do a simple exchange for another one. The lady needed my ID, my phone number, my home address, and my signature to do the exchange.
After satisfying all these credentials, she scans my receipt, and the box of my Fox, and tells me I just owe a balance of 23 cents. I told her that made no sense, and she just stared blankly at me, apologizing and telling me that's what needs to be paid for the exchange.
I told her something is obviously wrong, so she decided to try again. This time, she said I owed her $3.06 this time. At this point, I told her to just charge me for the other Fox. Once the transaction was completed, she gave me the receipt. I then took the defective Fox, handed her the same receipt back, and said I'd like to return it.
This pretty much blew her mind. She stared at me with a vapid look on her face, but had nothing to say. She scanned the receipt for the return, but it was giving her an error. Her associate told her that new purchases take about 5 minutes before they can be returned. So I'm just standing there for another 5 minutes as she kept on scanning it until it worked.
No apology, no nothing. I can tell she still wasn't really wrapping her head around what I had her do. That was probably the most ridiculous experience I've ever had trying to do an even exchange anywhere in my life. Most places don't even use the PoS to handle these instances.
Hoping I don't have to ever return anything at TRU ever again, that's for sure.
