Just picked up Luigi at Toys R Us in Gaithersburg, MD.
Tons of Luigis.
I asked about Captain Falcon and was told that if he wasn't out, he wasn't there. However, I have my suspicions that they DO have them, they just haven't put him out/are saving him for another time/are not allowed to sell him or talk about him.
No Lucario pre-order cards that I could find.

Pretty sure they have Cpt. Falcon in the back somewhere. The guy I talked to over a week ago said that he had accidentally put them out and then had to pull them when he realized the street date.

Yeah, when I asked about it the clerk kinda smirked and asked "Is he over there?", I said No and he responded "Nah" and shook his head while still smiling. Might have just been overestimating on my part but it just seemed like he knew more than he was letting on.

I really don't know. Wave 2 is confusing the hell out of me.
Looking at the TRU online page it says pre-orders will ship on 12/31
For Captain Toad I really have no idea. Skins would be possible but it would be so pointless...
A bonus level for each Amiibo would be awesome though (with the possibility to buy them obviously). Such a great game!

Better to feed importers for reduced prices.
It's 12/31 so maybe retailers are sticking with that.
But then again that makes no sense as to why Luigi was put out early.
I think there was one similar that sold for over 100 bucks. So yeah.
Is Mario Party 10 confirmed to have Online functionality (such as online up to 5 players), or will it be standard fare, such as Miiverse support & such?
Maybe instead of normal enemys the goombas will Pikachu goombas or have sword like marth?

Yeah ... Luigi, Captain Falcon, and Pit are all 12/30 according to Best Buy. My guess is they ship on 12/26. (Edit: The exception is Luigi got shipped on 12/12 at TRU)
Diddy Kong, Zelda, and Little Mac got shipped on 12/12 and sold on 12/14. I think another shipment is coming 12/19. Zelda is the only one that did not seem to sell out.

Absolutely sell it. It's pretty much worthless, it's just a defect, the kind of thing that happens and should be returned for a refund. But if somebody in this amiibo hype craze wants to pay $100 for it, by all means sell it to them. Then you can use that $100 to buy yourself 7 other amiibos.
So you have four options:
Keep it as is, but you're getting a defective product.
Sell it for money.
Return it.
Hold on to it to see if you can get more money for it someday, but I don't think you will. This is the best time to sell.

Emailed amazon about luigi, they said they have no information because the supplier has given them none on when they will recieve luigi. Nintendo is giving amazon the shaft wtf

With preorders this early being filled up.
To me it really adds that they're going to end up filling in old stock and the like before releasing a wave 4. Since from what was said when Skylanders was in the same issue this is what they did.

Not sure if this has already been noticed but if you search for amiibo on Amazon, it no longer comes up in the results. You have to search for a specific amiibo for it to work "marth amiibo".
It could be a glitch or it could be Amazon is not happy with Nintendo right now. Or maybe it's just me and my pc...

Tempting. It's just under $40 for the both of them. It's not that much more than just going to the store and buying them. Really just paying about $10 for shipping and that's it.
Make sure you are searching "all departments", and not just in "video games".

Just did the same, I can't trust target canada not to screw us somehow, and with Lucario if i get an online preorder for it i'll just cancel it later.
$45 CAD and hopefully no brokerage/duty is not that bad for the figures I want
