I'd take a Marth bent or otherwise at this point!

However, I agree, they really should be more consistent than they are, across the board. It's crazy to me how paint jobs, stances, extremities like the aforementioned sword, etc are so inconsistent figure to figure.

I guess I should have clarified this post, since nobody read it...the mobile app let me add Rosalina to my cart and I got to checkout last night around 10:00 central, but by the time I was ready to pay, it error'd out again and I couldn't re-add her to my cart. Sadness.
 
Yep, went to TRU at 8am, they didn't have any new stock... exact same assortment they had yesterday. I did randomly pick up a lone Fox at Wal-Mart immediately afterward, though. Going to re-check Best Buy when they open in a few minutes (got a Little Mac there yesterday) on the off chance they got any new ones in last night or had some hiding in the back, and then I guess I'm done with this whole search mission thing.

I haven't tried the old driving around town method yet. I am doing my best to try to grab the ones I want online.

now i just need to track down pit, captain falcon and little mac and i will have all the amiibos i want atleast untill wave 4 is announced....

I ran into the same thing right before I saw your previous post. I don't think it was actually open that time, but so close...
 
TRU in Wyomissing, PA has a bunch of Lucario pre order cards. got one reserved. Also, clerk was just putting out Luigi. Only had two small boxes. No sign of falcon or pit. I picked up 1 Luigi.

Sweet! Anyone think the pre order cards will still be available by Saturday? I'm thinking of picking one up and the day wave 3 launches I could stop by there first since it opens early and then on my way to Gamestop for the pre orders stop by the 3 targets for Rosalina that are on the same route.

My TRU had a huge stock of cards, probably about 50 or so. I'd expect they will stick around at least a week or so.
 
So apparently Game Mania haven't received any Wave 2 amiibo yet. I pre-ordered there, so it looks like I won't be able to pick them up until next week :/.

Will probably go into town and see if I can find a Little Mac, just in case GM won't be able to fulfill my pre-order. Aside from Lil Mac, which amiibo of wave 2 seem to be the rarest? I'm in Europe btw.

I think they only charge when items ship, could be wrong though. In store, the pre-order card is a $1.00 deposit. They take your email too and will email you when it's ready for pickup. They staple your sales receipt to the reservation card.
 
Sooo Play Asia just charged my card for the Rosalina preorder I did a few days ago. I never used Play Asia before so does this mean she is about to ship? I would assume so since I picked the slowest delivery since it's still fairly early before her release?

People have been saying Play Asia charges you up front, even if it's a preorder. I think Rosalina ships end of Jan, early Feb.

Pfffft,just go for the characters you like the most and enjoy! I stopped stressing out about getting them all when I saw the first 3 waves when they were announced.

Thankfully I live in the UK. So no issues for me. Only had to ship one over from another country, and that was from a german ebay seller, and that was when Kirby wasn't easily obtainable over here.
 
ugh, just read Shipwreck's tweets and a guy at his TRU preordered all the Lucarios and is trying to buy up all the Wave 2 figures. Fucking asshole. TRU, why don't you limit the exclusives?

This is what I'm worried about. They didn't have any lucario cards when I went in my TRU yesterday, but who's to say while I'm at work some chode is not just grabbing every card on the rack? That's only like 25-50 dollars or so depending on how many they put out. That shit is so scummy it makes me ill.

So has there been any truth to Falcon and Pit starting to release in TRU stores in the US? Has ANYONE in the US seen Falcon or Pit in the wild?
 
I put in a pre-order for Little Mac at Best Buy back in early November. Right when it went on pre-order sale, actually. "Pick up at store"

I never heard anything about it though. So, yesterday I contacted Best Buy and asked what the deal was.

A women just called me:

BB Employee: "We don't have that in stock. I'm not sure why the website let you put that order in."

Me: "Well, I placed the order before you even had stock, so I figured I should've got it."

BB: "I think it sold out so quick that we couldn't set one aside."

Me: "So, the pre-order just didn't matter then?"

BB: "Yeah, I don't know what happened."

Me: "Uhhh, ok."

I hope some of my other pre-orders start to matter there.

No sign in Wyomissing, PA TRU. Picked up Luigi right before he went on shelf. Only two small boxes, no signs or word of pit or falcon.
 
Stopped by TRU. It had plenty of Luigis but no other wave 2s. Plenty of the following wave 1s:
Mario, Peach, Donkey Kong, Pikachu, Star Fox. All other wave 1s were out. I picked up the rest of the wave 1s I was missing asides from the rare 3 and I picked up another Luigi even though I have a preorder on the way. Just in case. If anything, I'll just gift my extra copy.

BTW, the 2 for $22 is for TODAY ONLY based on a sticker I saw in the store.
 
Ok, so Nintendo has done it. Somehow, I have two of a bunch of the figures.

They made me rebuy Mario / Link / Donkey Kong because I had opened them originally and I wanted a complete in box set. I bought them at Toys R Us this morning but only got 3 because I didn't want any of the other characters again.

I've spent an ungodly amount on these figures actually.

How did Nintendo do this to me?

Also - I have everything ordered for shipping (with the exception of Bowser/Shulk GameStop figures cause I'm doing in-store).

Does anyone know if you buy the figures online at best buy / toys r us can you return them for a refund in store? Just in case I give in and go pick them up before they arrive because we all know the horror stories with the shipping situations here.

Some stores still have figures up for pre-order or out of stock online yet are available in store.
Example, Luigi. On TRU site, says preorder ships December 31st (est) yet they have them in stock at some locations.

Well I live in Canada and every single retail website has only the really common amiibos in stock. If you haven't pre-ordered wave 2 or 3, you're almost better off crossing your fingers and visited the store in hopes that they just received a new shipment. Also, by ordering online, you run the risk of getting a damaged box or discolored figure.
