Olimar and the Pikmin should be cool too. Betting the manufacturer defect one is no Oli or no Pikmin :)

*tear* finish that game for him. I had a friend ask me for a Pokemon 2 months before he died. I got it for him, even hatched it. But I forgot about it and he never asked me about it again...haven't even played y since. He was excited for smash too but never got to play it :-

Sorry for your loss.

My grandma and I played through Link to the Past togethor, but the 3D zelda games were a bit too much for her to handle. I did surprise her last year with the gold 3DS with Link Between Worlds. She was very excited to return to that world. I know she hasn't beaten it yet because she got stuck somewhere, so when I see her next week I'm gonna try to help her out.

Now that I think about it, I wish there was a "Link to the Past" Link amiibo. Pink hair and all.
 
I said before in this thread but I'd seriously swoon so hard for Koopalings amiibos. I was so pumped hearing they are playable in the game. I love them. I'd seriously go to great lengths to get all seven of those.

You never know. I didn't anticipate Diddy being one of the rare ones of the 2nd wave. He's associated with Donkey Kong so I assumed he'd be a staple going forward. How wrong I was. The way I see it, if you are even remotely interested in a certain Amiibo just preorder. That's why I have Ike, Sonic, Mega-man, Dedede, Shulk, and Meta knight preordered. Don't take the chance of thinking your going to find them in the wild with ease. Remember, these things are getting even more popular now. Characters like Fox are beginning to dry up slowly. So just get what you want while you can.

Can't wait for these things to turn into a trading card game :P

Thats what happened with my dad he quit once ocarina of time released because it went 3d and he didn't get it. My grandpa however loved them and even took notes and drawn maps on locations, I found them in his ocarina of time strategy guide. Im going to call my grandma tomorrow to see if she still has nes, snes, and n64. I hope for fucks sake one of my cousins didn't take them, they would have gone straight to the pawn shop.

Maybe ill leave a link amiibo on his grave, he would prefer that over flowers ha
 
So I went to Toys R Us drunk a couple of nights ago and bought 4 amiibo. During my small bender, I took a couple pictures of some drunk amiibo. Enjoy!

Ordered Lucario, Pit, and Cpt. Falcon yesterday, and so far TRU hasn't cancelled my order yet.

I also finally gave up and ordered Marth from amiami, I have a feeling he will be restocked, but I'd rather not risk it.

Also took a razorblade and cut the along the very sides of the plastic on the boxes, to make a "hinge" and opened all my figures, because they look so much better outside the boxes. You can't really appreciate the fine details of them while they're inside the box.
 
So what stores are people finding pit at in the US?

Also any further news on that email from TRU that will fix their giant preorder f up?

Pit I believe has only been at a couple places like FYE and Meijer so far. None at Target/TrU/Walmart/Best Buy/Gamestop as far as I know.

And no TrU hasn't said anything else yet. Go figure.

My order is still in good standing, all of them are slated for the end of this month for whatever reason, but once they get Pit in he'll be shipped to me. I think him and Luigi got pushed to 12/30 for whatever reason at Best Buy.

Yes a friend of mine told me he saw Pit today at Meijer. He asked me if he was hard to get and when he went back to get one they were gone.

They definitely had Pit but I didn't make it in time :-(. Not sure about the Capt. though cause I managed to snag him at Target.

My Best Buy Pit is still in good standing. Says release 12/30.

Edit: also they claim to use Twitter as their main way to get information out to consumers, but they never posted they had Pit :-(. I was waiting

I actually used my first amiibo in smash. It's pretty cool, not sure what all it does other than make a leveling cpu type player that you can take to other friends places. Cool none the less
