I've been extremely lucky so far with Amiibos; had no trouble with Wave 1, found Little Mac and Falcon fairly easily, etc, but it looks like my luck ran out with Pit. My local Gamestop just never got him in, and the ones semi close didn't have any spares. I'm not throwing in the towel or anything though; a complete set of these (at no more than retail cost) will be mine!!

So I'm getting really burnt out. I think I'm doing hunting for figures in stores and just waiting for my pre-orders to come threw. Here is my collection and list so far. I have Ike, Megaman, Sheik and Sonic preordered at both toys r us and GameStop due to the great cancellation of amiibo's by TRU.

It's the less common characters, villager, wii fit trainer, marth, Pit, Mac, and perhaps Falcon those types will be the hard to get.

Even Diddy seems to be restocking in various places. I can't see the Pokemon being too tough, then Kirby is everywhere, so doubt Meta and Dedede will be too tough even if Meta is exclusive.

Called my local Gamestop this morning, and I got them to hold their last Pit. They only got three in and the other two were reserved already. Wave 2 is now complete.

So I watched random GS get Pit around the area yesterday and didnt mess with it. I thought I would wait till today to see if any hold. Most were gone but my local showed low quantity. I called to check which I don't like doing knowing how busy it is. The poor girl was kind of nice (you can tell normally she would be) but seemed annoyed. She said she has gotten calls all morning and can't figure out a way to get it off the site. Kind of felt bad but damn they should be able to come up with a way to remove preorders from their inventory. I will wait till Target gets them or my BB preorder comes through.

This stuff has been annoying me since TRU started doing it with Skylanders releases. Have to be there right when they open for a chance to get it.

They are working their way up, but I'm actually trying to keep them in check. I already have a few that are approaching level 40 and too tough to beat. It feels as though they just blast their way through levels too fast.

Just browsed through dozens of Pits, Falcons and Little Macs to find the "perfect" ones. Falcon's quality was the most consistent one but Pits' paintwork was a mess. The brown from his bow was spread all over his right hand. Still managed to nab one that wasn't so bad. According to my calculations there were 22 Diddy Kongs and only 2 of them got the eyes right. The rest of them looked so hilarious with eyes pointing in opposite directions.

I usually have my low level amiibo get carried in a team of maxed out amiibos in 8-player smash with 5 stocks. They level up quick for me that way.

EB games has Pit and Cpt. falcon IN STOCK in the brick and mortar stores. I was fortunate to get both, it was the last Pit but they had several falcons.
