All I've seen is that my online order for in-store pickup was "closed", meaning it should be in the store's system to be paid off, which I did yesterday. They had no idea when Shulk, etc. would actually arrive.

Pretty sure pages back some people said they got notifications to get Shulk in-store for tuesday, they specifically said Gamestop so I assume its US (not sure if EBGAMES is just the website's name in Canada)

A gamestop told me they could be getting shipment on Monday, but when I went and asked again they told me the 13.

Someone else.also mentioned Shulk not being street dated, so GSs could sell as soon as they got them. I will try to look specific posts when I am not on the phone.

Edit: There we go, don't have to look up posts lol
 
I found a Japan seller listing items in CAD, which means my USD PayPal balance worked in my favour. Broke down and bought Ike and Dedede. Ended up being $46 for both. At that rate, I traded Falcon and Mac for them with change to spare.

These dudes are hitting TRU here now, but it's too frustrating to deal with that store now that I don't live next door. During Skylanders time, I would jist walk over every morning when a release was imminent.

I missed the wave 3 preorders since the first two waves were so easy to get, I didn't bother. I'm going to be ready for wave four, though. I just want the Fire Emblem squad, then I am done.

My GS texted me that my Bowser was ready. This was THU of last week. No news on anyone else though.

I guess i was under the false impression that amiibo were plentiful all over Europe. I am visiting Amsterdam this week, stopped in a game store and only found the popular usual suspects. Maybe better luck in Paris?
 
To the guys asking about Gamestop.
I walked in on the 31st to pick up Dying Light and i found a Bowser hiding in a corner. Grabbed that shit quick as hell since i wasn't expecting it...let alone in a Gamestop.

i haven't been following Gamestop and how they handle amiibos but they should be selling some.
Ive been getting most of mine thru Amazon/Target/Walmart

They're surprisingly good at handling the amiibos, especially if you're cool with the staff and ask to be called when they come in. It's more of a personal experience there, moreso than the other retailers.

I love dying light so far

From what I've read from here and Reddit, I haven't seen any GS getting anything other than Bowser so far
 
I will probably swing by Gamestop at lunch. Like I mentioned yesterday the clerk that took my preorder payment told me he thought they would be getting them today(Tuesday) but I don't know if he was just full of shit

Uncommon. When I went to target on the 1st they had maybe six of them? I got the last one. They had told me eight previously but maybe I miscounted. Lots of reports of them selling out along with Sheik. I think Sheik is much harder to find right now.
 
Guys I'm still needing a US Mint Box Rosalina, if you have an extra one, please PM and send me how much you want for it. I can't find her in Houston anymore and I missed out on the online orders earlier today. ><
 
Well crap that was a disappointment, that store i went to only had a couple Amiibos left, no Kirby, no Rosalina :(

So i just went with Bowser and Falcon as my first couple Amiibos, solid choices i suppose ;) and better than nothing

Not sure if you mean Target US or Canada but I think both are gona forever anyways. If you're in Canada you do have a shot at Rosie at TRU or other retailers apparently

Sorry yeah I forgot Target Canada was a thing, I meant the US. And I thought so, knowing how they worked with Transformers and other stuff I used to collect I guess now it's one and done with these things.
 
Wow I got a rosalina at target :)

Snow storm helped cause I just strolled in at 11:30 am and bought one

I also bought a back up ultra rare super limited broken rosalina off stand :p

I'm awful with money B^)

Are you in NA? If so, I'd consider yourself pretty lucky as getting Captain Falcon is actually pretty difficult around here.

I think there was a fly or letter or something from Target that mentioned she wouldn't have a place on the shelf. That she was a one shot deal then done.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong/delusional.
 
I just hope NoA doesn't make any exclusive deals with retails anymore and release the whole Wave 4 on the same day just like Wave 1. Oh and tons of stock for each figure of course. And a cake.
 
I'm being really selective with my Amiibo's, really only picking up characters I main or use frequently. Anyone that has seen or purchased and extra DeDeDe or Sheik that wants to be my hero please PM me!!! Those two and Ganondorf are really the only ones I want other than the Link and Falcon I already have.

I guess I'm not so much stressed out as I am worried about employee incompetence. I am by no means going for a full collection but I did calmly preorder the ones I wanted MONTHS ago and I wish I didn't have to worry about the stores selling my FULLY PAID preorders instead of holding them. I've seen people talk about stores not holding preorders pretty much everywhere, but Best Buy and TRU are the worst.

I was just wondering because I saw Bowser sitting on the Gamestop pegs and I was like, um I have an order with this guy fully paid. The guy was like "oh sorry about that, let me look up your order and you can just grab one." I'm lucky it was just Bowser and they still had like 30 of him but I don't think I'll be so lucky if they pull the same stunt with Sheik or Shulk.
 
I thought I saw Meijer in Michigan list the release dates for Dedede, Ike, Mega Man, etc as today. Has anyone been to Meijer to confirm if that's true?
