We finally reached page 100. The amigo hype is rlly real.

They told me all pre-orders are being set aside for 72 hours and any extras will be put on the shelf with a limit on 1 per sku. The gamestop near me is pretty good. I've only had issues with amiibo pre-orders when they were not shipped enough to cover all the pre-orders.

I mentioned this waaay back in OT2, but I have a couple connections, which is how I knew exactly how many Rosalinas were at the Target I went to yesterday, making it just in time before the cut off of availability, as well as knowing for a while before it was mentioned publicly what the actual ETAs at GS for the Wave 3 amiibos were, and being able to get Bowser a day early.

This kinda thing is gonna be an easy problem to fix, no sweat!

This is what I'm afraid of honestly. Plus, the girl that works there isn't too fond of me for whatever reason. So it looks like I'll be showing up early.
 
Oooo that's a real nice setup you got going, Jason. I'm really digging those stands they're on. I'm gonna need to find mine a new place to display them on, something as nice as that. :o

The line on the 30th was 10 people long.

The line on the 1st was 20 people long for Rosa and 15 for Best Buy, anda that was because the TRU across the street also had about 15 people waiting for Lucario even when he was sold out.

You can be sure the line on the 13 is going to be 30 people long at least. A lot of people missed on Lucario, Rosalina and Shulk, Gamestop is a lot of peoples last chance for Sheik AND Shulk.

if there is a line i wonder if they will do what they do for game midnight launches where they bring everyone with pre-orders inside first no matter what place they have in line.

I´m going to make a lot of people mad when walk out with my Shulk, I´ll still be there early to see if I get an extra one, where I go there is two Gamestops right next to each other, and its kinda funny because one is always sold out and the other always has extras, mostly because the manager of one is way nicer than the other guy, so people rather preorder at the first one. I´ll strike the unpopular one first!

Alas, I see link looking down yet again. I've tried the trick twice now and even put him in the freezer for like a half hour, but he still eventually looks down. I think his head is tilted a few millimeters higher each time so I calculate if I do it 73.5 more times, his head will be at the desirable angle I want. 😂

They really gave no thought on the sculpts of the first two waves. WHY have them looking down.
 
I love that all the characters in the front row of that sweet display^ are the Smash64 characters.


question because it's hard to tell where everyones from with all these pictures:
Dedede, Sonic, MegaMan are out in Toys'R'Us (or anywhere else) in the US or no?

The only ones that aren't out yet here are Lucario (Feb 6th) Sonic, Megaman, and Meta Knight (who I believe are all releasing Feb 28th.)

The Fabrikor display from ikea was about $200. LED lights $20. Stands/tubes $30-40. Figures inside...... $$$$$$$

They cut it for me but I might try my hand at cutting them myself for the next batch. I just need to buy a $50 blade for my compound milter saw that specially cuts plastic. The problem with normal saws is it may crack the plastic.

Yep I grew up on Smash64. I still play it on my iPhone via emulator Bluetooth to my PS3 controller. Love it.

And DDD MM Sonic Shulk and Meta are all delayed here in the USA. They are our Wave 3B pretty much.
 
So I been away from the internet all day. Anything good happen? I'm still patiently waiting for the other wave 3 to release, namely Shulk, Ike and Megaman.
 
My Sheik, Toon Link, and Bowser arrived from Best Buy. They all look fantastic.

And Lucario is on his way to me.

Today was a good day.

I also happened to play some video games, so that was something too I suppose.
 
So I'm flying back home to Los Angeles tomorrow, and I'm wondering if I'm being stupidly paranoid for thinking of keeping my Rosalina amiibo with me in my carry-on luggage instead of just packing her into my checked luggage along with Bowser. I know TSA employees go through luggage all the time (they went through mine on the way here) and that they can't necessarily be trusted... am I being silly? :P

That's what I thought. I figured it was just him being wrong. He said he's a "big Mega Man fan and was sad he wasn't able to set one aside for himself," though, so I wasn't sure. What's really odd is that there was a product sticker for "Amiibo - Mega Man" in the amiibo area at that Target (with no figures there, of course), like they actually did have some at one point. They couldn't have, though!
