I walk into Gamestop and the guy's like "oh, one of the chosen few." He had to go to the back to get it; they didn't want them out front because people would see them and freak out. He made sure to give me a bag so I "wouldn't get mugged or anything."

They had a giant box full of Shulks behind the counter (looked like 20-30!) but apparently only got enough to fill pre-orders, crazy.

Kinda unrelated, but was just at Kmart looking for amiibos and found KOF: XIII (plus 4 cd soundtrack) and Mario and Luigi Dream team for $16 and $19 respectively. Pretty sweet!

Just picked up my Shulks from GS. They received 38 for preorders only.

Picked up my Shulk pre-order at GS today (sourth Twin Cities metro area) around noon. They got in 7 Shulks and all were for pre-orders.

He was actually kinda funny. He said they had received about 40 calls so far today because the website says "In Stock" even though they are just for pre-orders.

He also said he hopes at least one person doesn't pick up their pre-order so he can buy it. He thought mine was his best chance because my pre-order was so early and I don't have a history at the store.

Lesson here: go pick up your pre-orders asap!

Beware of the Shulks with separated hair pieces. Some are really nice and tight but many had a gap between them. Its really noticeable since his hair is blonde. Luckily I was able to go through 20 of them to pick the best of the bunch.

Also theres alot with slightly to really bent swords. Go to ur Gamestops earlier so you can look through them while they are still abundant.
