You could have, but you apparently aren't and you will be helping somebody out. I'm not intending to start a big thing (already did though so whatever). I'm not judging people, and I guess I want to make that clear, I'm simply voicing that I'm frustrated. I didn't necessarily blame anybody either, but I did voice the question of would it have made a difference when I tried to order Meta Knight today if there weren't people on there trying to order extras. That question just sort of spread from there. It's easy to not be as frustrated as I am when you, as you've admitted, haven't had much issue getting all the figures you want so far.

Gaf has helped a ton, as have I helped others on here. The practice isn't always bad, but it also does make things worse for somebody. Basically nothing is perfect and somebody loses either way.

Yep. That's why I pulled the trigger on it. More than anything else, I was being a stickler for only having NA models in boxes..But as I have zero intentions of selling my collection at any point, I decided having all of them is more important than going insane trying to get an NA one.

Trading helps. Buying extras when you don't need them hurts, but trading them away is still helping. Buying extras to hold ransom for an inevitable trade you will need in the future is helping somebody, but it's frustrating to the person that didn't get one and can't buy it from you because they don't have the rare you want to trade for.

Does that sum up all the crap I said that people are mad at me for now?

Yeah, i was kind of scared to even bring it up (my original intention for coming to the thread after work), but i had a dude i offered an uncommon NES game to for a Rosalina, and i thought he just let the deal go, but it turns out it just took a while for him to get them in. So now i have an extra, and i'm looking to get Ike, DDD, or Meta Knight of any kind, opened or not in return.

Since i'm now worried i won't get any luck given the new stock that just opened up.

I buy blurays and both Best Buy and Target treat their exclusives as one and done things. It would make sense that TRU and Gamestop have more stock.

So... that's $10 an hour.


I mean, I'm only a public school teacher so I'm not on any high end salary or anything, but I'm not getting excited about scalping some toys for a profit for anything less than $100. Maybe if I was a young adult/college student I would consider the amount of effort to sell toys online or locally to earn some extra money to be worthwhile.

If someone takes what was said to heart and decides to not come back to the community, how is that anyone's fault? Others who agree or disagree have made their opinions known and moved on.
