The average is about to hit $60.
Aaaaaand the average just jumped to $60.70.
That seems crazy, Double Fine Adventure was at 38, Wasteland 2 was at 48 and even Project Eternity was only at 54.

In my experience, people who love Amplitude REALLY love Amplitude. I've already pledged $100 and I may double that today.

Glad to see the jump! Any idea how much the Vita stretch goal would be? If there was any chance of hitting it, I'd throw in.

Those Sony execs really going out of their way right now to make this hit its goal by opting for the highest pledges.
$300,000 to go in 3 days.... doable?
It's going to make it. We should hit 500+k by tonight.
No goal set. And if it does it, it will barely cross past the line, so I think Vita is out of scope unless the home versions sell well enough to fund it after the fact.
That's dissapointing.
"I gotta feeling, a feeling deep inside, oh yeah. I gotta feeling, a feeling I can't hide, oh yeah."
Guys, I think it's possible...
Kick starters typically accelerate the last couple days. Definitely possible now.Nah.....
315k in 3 days?
Very, very unlikely.....
Insomniac pledged 7,5k just recently to have their 20th anniversary song included in the game.I have noticed a huge spike in the average pledge. I wonder how many Harmonix family members are "loaning" this campaign large sums of money.
Yeah, I would donate up to 200 if I see that's going to actually help. That's like what 3-4 new games, and I've played, and more importantly enjoyed, Amplitude and Frequency far more than just 3-4 games combined. In my experience, people who love Amplitude REALLY love Amplitude. I'm honestly not sure if having a shorter campaign would have really made a lot of difference, as funding on most projects slows down a lot during the middle. It just would have meant more days of low activity.
However, the fire that has been lit under this is encouraging and I hope it makes it. It must have cleared about 100k in the last 24 hours? If this pace keeps up we should make it, but it will be close.
Pledged 20. I didn't in the beginning because I wanted to get reviews of this game first. Saw it was failing and most likely not going to get funded, so didn't bother. Now that they have 250k to go, I decided to help out. I rarely do these things, but they are so close.
Losing those 12 days really fucking hurt them methinks.

Has there ever been a kickstarter which ended up collecting more money in the last few days than in the first few?Only if it was in the first 3 days, so no.

Holy crap, this thing could maybe actually really happen. I wanna make music for iiiiit pleaaase

This kickstarter was always going to succeed. There is always a huge bump in the last few days of a kickstarter. By going 18 days instead of 30 Harmonix just trimmed the fat in the middle. You get a huge bump in the beginning and in the end and then you celebrate. It's really as simple as that. This is Harmonix, the team that brought you Rock Band, one of the greatest franchises of all time that ever will be. It's not hard to believe that people would support them. We also have Jonathan Drake out there talking crazy to hype people up.
