an Unholy 18 min Lost Ark trailer that will render all other MMOs OBSOLETE

Hey I've heard that speech before.

I am aware that wow is not as big anymore, but people do often stick to their current mmorpg because they've worked so hard on what they've gained throughout the years.

Lost ark is a Korean grinder, which is pretty niche in the west.

Looks like weeb shit. Korean MMOs are so fucking cringe with character looks.

Amazon already burqa censored most of the character so if they're still weeb cringe I don't know what to tell you. Maybe Last of Us 2 has characters more to your taste, like Abby.

This game took way to long to come out. With Diablo 4 and Path of Exile 2 looking vastly superior visual and animation wise and also higher budget, I am gonna have pass on this. Too ugly and too late.

They censored the newbie outfits but the old ones still exist as drops in the world. Game looks dope. I love the idea of a Diablo MMO crossover.

Wait what, they censured big boobies ?
They basically replaced all revealing outfits with awkward modest ones. Check this articles

What's even worse is that in order to pursue "diversity ", they forcedly swapped many npcs skin colors. This one is at its worst:

There's a handful of mmos with stellar pvp and Lost ark is one of them. The pve got more than decent but the game utterly shines in pvp and I hope that the community will remain strong knowing that the arena is entirely normalised. KR tourneys are insane

I'm following this game since the first trailers back in 2013... But saying that it has anything remotely close to "render other MMOs obsolete" is a stretch.

I've been playing MMOs since 2004... Ragnarok Online, WoW(still playing since 2007) and some dozen Chinese/Korean crap ones.

This game is light years away from being anything revolutionary... It'll for sure live more than New World (lasted 3 months) but it would be a miracle if this game still relevant (it'll still alive though) after 6 months.

I honestly haven't been this hyped for an MMO since WoW's release. The amount of content out the gate is great, even if you do not want to spend a dime.

You're right it's nothing revolutionary but I think you're wrong about it's longevity. It already has strong community and enough content/support to keep it relevant for awhile (unlike New World).

I bet a lot of people writing it off as just another Korean MMO will change their tune when they see this game take off in the West.

It's a top down MMO. I don't even want to call it that. Not going to render anything obsolete. I'd rather play WoW from 16 years ago than this. Sorry.
