My prediction: we will see a 6m trailer for the new expansion, coming later this fall.

And then there will be a sneak peek at D2, delivered in the form of a FMV trailer.
 
I am waiting for three things :
- the next Sonic game
- Xbox OG BC
- Nintendo NX

This E3 should be entertaining :)
 
FFVII & KHIII release dates please. The rest I'm open to surprises for. Can't wait as usual -- shame E3 lands during Ramadan for me. I'll be fasting so no longer can I binge eat whilst watching the conferences! It'll be like this for at least another 5 years...but E3 probably won't be what it is now anyway.
 
After Shenmue 3's announcement last year, I'd like to see another resurrection of a long-forgotten SEGA series. It doesn't matter if it's Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, OutRun, Shinobi, ESWAT, Space Harrier, Wonder Boy, Gunstar Heroes, Panzer Dragoon, Alien Storm or Alex Kidd. At this point in my life I'd welcome any of them with open arms.

As long as it isn't Transbot.
 
Anyone remember the bloated special E3 pages that sites like IGN used to have? It used to be so chaotic to follow E3 well, I loved trying to dig up as many screenshots, videos and info as possible.

Now you can just watch a livestream from start to finish.
 
All i want to see is Battlefield. If the Alternate History WW1 Rumors are true, i would be so hyped.
Sadly nobody really wants to leak stuff about Battlefield. Not even shinobi.
 
It should really be revealed at their own event beforehand, but man, Nintendo needs to go ALL OUT this year with the NX, especially if it is dropping this year.

Also go all out with Zelda.

I don't understand why some people are expecting Retros next game to be a Metroid one when they haven't finished their DKC trilogy yet.


Nintendo will hit this out of the park for me if they have the following:

* New 3D Mario
* Pikmin 4
* A cool new game like Nintendo Land
* Warioware
 
Mass Effect: Andromeda, Amy Hennig's Star Wars, and new IP are what I'm most excited for. I'd also be pretty hyped for a potential re-reveal of Beyond Good and Evil 2 that has been rumored.
 
The two games I'm most interested about are Mass Effect Andromeda and Dishonored 2. Not really interested in other existing franchises from those two publishers. Perhaps if they come with some new material, like the new Bioware IP, although I very much doubt they will talk much about that already, rather it will be all Mass Effect from E3 to release. (I can live with that)

Thinking hard, but nothing from the other publishers really excites me... Perhaps some more info on Horizon Zero Dawn and some FF7 remake info, like a release date.

And of course, Quo vadis, Nintendo? Will you be relevant again? Or will you marginalize yourself further? I don't think you can afford another hardware flop... And I don't wish it upon you either.
 
I'm kinda hoping Ace Combat 7 gets more details BEFORE E3, like sometime in May at the latest. AC7 is not something that's gonna command a lot of attention versus everything else on display, unless Sony is going to hype it as a AAA PSVR release.

I'm not expecting their to be meaningful FFVIIR stuff at E3 this year, maybe PSX? I feel they're gonna wait until after XV ships to do more of a media rollout for FVII. I think it also benefits from having a shorter marketing lead time since it's episodic and all, we already know the rough outlines of the world, so we don't need to be introduced to it the same way we need to with XV. I'm still bullish that the first game will ship March/April 2017.

Maybe a teaser, but not the full reveal IMO. They have a new expansion coming in the fall, that will be the focus.

Heck they are Activision, they dont really need E3 to reveal this game. They can even do it at Blizzcon
 
Looking forward to being disappointed by Nintendo for yet another year in a row.

Otherwise... Don't know. I like going in kinda blind. Not sure what I'm looking forward to until I see it.
 
This is what I hope/expect to happen:

- Mass Effect gameplay and (hopefully) release date (1st quarter 2017)
- Dishonored 2 gameplay and (hopefully) release date (Dec. 2016)
- Wolfenstein sequel announced (2017)
- Last Guardian gameplay and release date (Sept/Oct. 2016)
- Horizon Zero Dawn gameplay and release date (Dec. 2016)
- Nioh gameplay and release date (Sept./Oct. 2016)
- Demon's Souls remastered (believe!!!) (Oct./Nov. 2016)
- God of War reveal (2017)
- Nier Automata gameplay and release date (Nov./Dec. 2016)

I think Sony would be crazy not to have a Bloodborne 2, but that will probably be revealed in 2017.
 
I'm gonna also say there won't be any PS4K news at E3. Digital Foundry seemed to imply there's a prototype that exists inside Sony, but nothing that's been sent to devs yet. I think this is a Holiday 2017 thing, but regardless, PSVR is the hardware Sony is releasing this year. Why would they want to undercut support for that by announcing yet another 400/500 USD box that they'd have to buy to get the 'real' VR experience?
 
I cant wait to hopefully finally see Mass Effect: Andromeda in action and get a solid release date.

Destiny 2 I think will be there in some form, probably an FMV trailer.

Mass Effect Andromeda - Gameplay and some story details.
Mass Effect Trilogy - PS4 versions to help us deal with the wait.

Metroid Prime NX - Retro at the helm of a new first person game. Will make me buy the console day 1.
New 2D Metroid game - 3DS is such an amazing fit for this kind of thing.

The Last of Us 2 - Best Naughty Dog IP needs more love.

Demons/Dark Souls HD Remasters - Now that they're done with Dark Souls give us a way to experience these masterpieces for years to come.
Any sort of hint as to where From goes from here.

I just realised that i have the week off too \o/. Go me. I'm going to Download festival which is that weekend. I will probably miss the Msoft conference and too tired to even attempt watching Sony's, but still. Tuesday catch up of those two and a live Nintendo Direct/conference. Bonus.
 
For PS4 I'm hoping to see more of the FF7 remake and the last guardian

also, I've been hoping to see Sony bring back some titles familiar to ps2 like a new Syphon Filter, Spyro, Pitfall, Jet Moto, Twisted Metal, etc
 
The thing i want the most is a Saints Row Reboot that goes back to the series roots. Saints Row 2.5 if you want. Better Open World/Back to Stilwater, serious and emotional Storyline, no Super Powers, competitive multiplayer... yeah that's not going to happen.

Wait, I thought EA was doing a two day event (12th and 13th) with conferences both days or something. Wasn't that why they left their original slot or am I wrong on this?
 
TLOU2 confirmation would be nice, but I doubt they announce ND's next game less than four weeks after Uncharted. It'll probably be an E3 2017 trailer.
 
This is what I want to happen from Sony and Nintendo

Sony:
Last Guardian gameplay with release date
New Crash Bandicoot
Jak 4 (not going to happen but whatever lol)
New FF7 episode 1 trailer/gameplay with a possible release year?

Nintendo:
Obviously reveal the NX if it hasn't already been revealed before E3
NX being stronger or as strong as the PS4
New 3D Mario (Galaxy 3) for NX
New Metroid Prime for NX
Zelda Wii U announced for NX
Pokemon Stadium 3 for NX :D
Paper Mario Color Splash will also be coming to NX
Smash 4 coming to NX with new characters and stages
Mario Kart 8 ported to NX (or just give me Mario Kart 9)
Xenoblade X ported to NX
 
60 minutes are not enough to show Viscerals game.
So I guess only BF5, Titanfall 2, Andromeda and maybe Criterions Game + sports.
All 4 should get full presentation, so there's no time for Visceral.
