The game will be out before E3 2017.
EA has made conferences in Gamescom in the recent years, my guess is that if they have one again, they could manage to show a decent amount of games and gameplay on both.
I really hope they at least show something Star Wars - and a trailer for Battlefront DLC will not cut it.
I really feel that EA are borderline mismanaging their Star Wars ''10 year'' deal as all they have almost 3 years in is a lukewarm Battlefront (albeit huge sales success) and a mobile game.
The amount of momentum in the Star Wars IP with The Force Awakens and now Rogue One should be utilized with at least a few new titles for consoles/PC.
Like wheres Rogue Squadron, KOTOR 3 (LOL I know), Jedi Knight-esque game, Force Unleashed-like game, RPG, Darth Maul.....anything?
I'll reserve judgement for E3 but come on...announce something already.
We know Visceral has a Han Solo title, Jade Raymond at EA Motive is doing something Star Wars, and EA Canada are supposed to be working on something open world for Star Wars. Bioware - ??
Announcement has to come soon for at least one.

My hype personally doesn't begin until Nintendo announces when the Direct will be. I usually can contain the hype from all the announcements until that point and Nintendo's usually the final drop in the bucket before the hype flows over the edge.
But still, it's creeping up on me already. So much stuff already that I'm looking forward to.

I get the suspicion that anything Nintendo puts out by then will struggle to meet the sheer amount of hype and speculation by fans.

I think that's probably why GAF NX hype is relatively low key - they know Nintendo will find some way to fuck it up.

I would VERY satisfied with this E3...outside of the Horizon delay prediction.
I say Gravity Rush 2 and Gran Turismo Sport also get new trailers and possibly demos as well.
Oh yeah and last I'm still hoping Resident Evil 7 gets announced this year. It would be pretty lame if it didn't considering the last game released almost 4 years ago and they are celebrating the 20th anniversary of the franchise this year. If not E3 then it must be at Tokyo Games Show.

This is my ideal scenario regarding Crash. I was playing through R&C A Crack in Time a few weeks ago, and realized the insomniac could pull off a great Crash game if they were given the chance/wanted to do it. I don't feel that ND is suited anymore to come up with another entry like some other people want. I mean, they were basically trying to reboot Jak, but the ideas they had regarding it were so far removed that they basically made The Last Of Us instead.
I would add For Honor to the Ubisoft list.

Yes. Sony announced their plans for E3 2015 on May 21, Nintendo announced their plans for E3 2015 on May 13.
Nintendo I think could begin to talk about E3 2016 as early as next week in conjunction with the 2015 Fiscal Year Earnings Release.
Also, to something else, I recently came to think of RalliSport Challenge and how much I liked that game for Xbox. A new game in this series has been requested for many years, but it doesn't feel like something of much interest at Microsoft. Still, RalliSport Challenge 3 announced at E3 2016 would be awesome.

In wantspeak, it's all about NX and games. And Nintendo had better goddamn deliver, with big name US and Japanese third party support.
