Um mlb the show 16 was just released like a month ago no way it will be at E3

are people seriously expecting The Last Guardian? didn't they just show it last year? i think it's safe to say they're working on it so hard atm that they don't have time to prepare a trailer or gameplay demo. they want to focus on making the game. be patient, it will be at E3 2017/2018 and we'll get a trailer and release date then most likely.

I can't tell if this post is serious or not. lol

Sony hasn't give a date and time for their conference yet right? Although I'm sure it'll be the same time it usually is.

I honestly don't know what to expect as far as surprises go. Again I'm just going to enjoy the show. I'm sure I'll like a lot of what's being shown.

I'm actually expecting Crash 4 this time around, and it's the last time I will. If it's not here, I'm moving on, man! T T

I'm not hyped for it this year

I fear that half of it will be about VR and PS4 Neo and the other half will not show new games and they will officially announce Horizon and TLG's delay to 2017.

:(

Last years show will be hard to beat in Sony's case. The sudden ending of the conference was jarring after a great conference.

This year I expect

Something Crash related.
FFXV trailer
FF VIIR Aerith / Tifa trailer
COD / Destiny borefest
Horizon trailer
God of War 4 sadly

I am looking forward to Square Enix conference or what they show at Sony's conference. Last year was amazing and I hope for more.

I am also looking forward Mass Effect Andromeda but pity it's not coming this year. With no Assassin's Creed this year and so far a quiet November it would have been perfect.

I'm hoping to see more of Dragon Quest XI along with everything else from Square's main Japanese studios along with Horizon Zero Dawn. Any new announcements are welcome as well.

Pretty low expectations for E3 this year. No NX, PS4 Neo/PSVR/XBox Elite holds little interest for me. So with those there's nothing really hardware wise I care about.

I'm sure I'll love whatever Zelda I see, but nothing else playable is a bummer. Microsoft's first party output is never interesting to me. Sony will at least show more Horizons. The 'Big 3 Reveals' from their show last year failed to hype me at all, but I do hope to like what I see of FFVII:R.

I expect the PC stuff to be the biggest highlight, which is part of the reason I never buy XBox's - all the games I legit care about seem to make it to PC anyways.

So yeah, low bar all around to clear.

I'm hyped for Zelda at E3.
you don't say.

it struck me today that E3 is just a little over a month away

hype status: conflicted

the Neo will assuredly be there: that's good
but the NX won't: that's bad
Zelda will have a huge prescense: that's good
but it's delayed 'til 2017: that's bad
Microsoft is gonna show a bunch of cool Xbox exclusives: that's good
that are also coming to PC: that's...ok, actually
EA is holding its own event the sunday before: that's huge
dude it's EA: oh right
Ubisoft always bring the hype: that's good
Ubisoft always bring the memes: that's bad
there's always new, cool games at E3: that's good
that will all be delayed into 2018: that's bad

Hyped for both FF games and hopefully square shows off KH3. I'm also looking forward to seeing Horizon, Zelda(Finally), and any surprises in store.
Edit: Forgot square isn't at E3 but it hopefully could be in Sonys conference.

I'm hoping to see more of Dragon Quest XI along with everything else from Square's main Japanese studios along with Horizon Zero Dawn. Any new announcements are welcome as well.

Yeah, it'd be nice if we got western confirmation sooner rather than later. I wonder, though, with Nintendo finally confirming an NX game, if third parties are allowed to confirm anything, i.e. if Square Enix can now say whether or not Dragon Quest XI will also come to NX.

EA Press Conference

-Hazelight game (from the maker of Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons): announcement, release window, maybe a short demo.

-Untitled Visceral/Amy Hennig Star Wars game: announcement, release window, maybe a demo

-Untitled Battlefield game: demo (announcement and release date this week)

-Titanfall 2: release date and demo

-Mass Effect: Andromeda: release date, demo

-Untitled Criterion game: announcement, release window

-Long Shot Prediction: Bioware new IP announcement/teaser

Mass Effect, Battlefield and Titanfall will be the big games playable at EA Play. Maybe beta for Battlefield and/or Titanfall runs through the week.

Alan Wake 2 and I'm buying an Xbone.

This. While I have a Xbox One and I think that Quantum Break was an amazing game all around, Alan Wake 2 would make me so happy. I am just wondering if it is a bit too early being that QB just came out? Hopefully MS gives Remedy the support to let them do AW2.

I'm honestly most excited for Ubisoft's conference. Definitely ready to see more Ghost Recon, South Park, and For Honor. Also think I'm one of the few here who is legit excited for Watch Dogs 2. Plus there's always the chance of new UbiArt games and then of course their annual conference-closing megaton. Should be stellar!

There are also a lot of third parties that may announce games like Volition (Saint's Row), Monolith (Mordor), and Warner Bros. Montreal (Arkham Origins).

Probably won't be an amazing E3, but it think there will be some stuff to savor.

Can't let Nintendo kill my hype so this is my dream Sony E3 presser where I still try to ground it in some sort of ''realism'', warts and all. I hope MS has a great presser but I don't know what they can show me to actually get me interested in buying their product. I do enjoy a good E3 presser regardless so I hope they come in strong, especially since their future games seem to release on PC also.

First off they need to adress the elephant in the room. Shawn walks to the stage, gives his slimy PS4 almost 40 mil sales talk, brags about UC4 reviews/sles, how the PS4 continues to evolve or whatever and announces NEO @ 399 and PS4 Slim @ 299 (plus of course remaining regular PS4 price cut @299).

After that Balrog flies to the stage and they announce and show God of War Ragnarok or whatever that is made with NEO in mind and it looks ridicilously good. And then Shawn is like ''That looks pretty hot right? That footage was captured from a regular PS4 so no worries dog.'' And they have a short presentation with NEO mode on. Game coming in 2017.

Shawn says that all the games you will be seeing tonight is NEO compatible and some fan favourite past games will receive a patch to add NEO mode including Bloodborne, Uncharted 4 and whatever. That is all the NEO talk for the rest of the conference.

Shawn leaves and Yoshida steps in. Updates on already known 1st party titles. Horizon first, another gameplay demo in a new enviroment. Confirmed delay to early 2017. Gran Turismo Sport open beta this holiday and full game release early 2017. The Last Guardian non spoilery trailer, release date early September. Gravity Rush 2 new trailer, release date early December. Bend, Detroit and Sucker Punch (Spider Man ;3) saved for GC and PSX.

Adam takes the stage and is up to his old tricks again that cannot be avoided. Thus, Destiny DLC trailer but it's ok because everyone is still stunned from the godly GR2 footage. Mandatory indie reel after with some cool games and after that a No Man's Sky release trailer. Followed by Ni-oH trailer and release date for holidays. Watch Dogs 2 already shown at Ubi presser but some new stuff shown and exclusive DLC gloat.

Then he gives the same JRPG bait he did at PSX few years back but this time he brings the goods. He has done the impossible and actually got some marketing co-op going on with Atlus. New trailer and US release date for Persona 5, coming this year (I would say EU too but this is supposed to be somewhat realistic). Ni No Kuni 2 trailer with first gameplay snippets, releasing early next year.

Then Hashimoto takes the stage. Since it's possible SE skips having a presser this year they just bring their goods to Sony's stage instead. FF15 trailer (with hopefully not much spoilers), KH2.8 trailer and release date this holiday and KH3 trailer with finally a release year of 2017 announced (maybe this is going too fantasy land but whatever). New FF7R info promised for PSX. Ends his segment with trailers for Tomb Raider PS4, Deus-Ex and Nier Automata.

Capcom rises from the grave and shows Umbrella Corps. launch trailer and everyone is like ded. But not to worry, after that they reveal Resident Evil 7 that looks like it tones things down a bit from 6, Resident Evil 2 REmake first teaser trailer shown, made in the style of first REmake. Tears of joy around audience. Street Fighter 5 DLC info by Ono but he is given laughably little time on stage, we done. They go out with Deep Down trailer that looks decent.

Andrew House in the House. Get's old VR stuff out of the way ASAP. Armored Core announced as a PS4/PSVR title, House assures VR stations will be pushed hard so everyone can try it out.

Next up mandatory Call of Duty campaing gameplay reveal. And after that House talks about the great relationship they have with Activision and how they are going to celebrate certain someones 20th anniversary. Crash Bandicoot returns to his roots and releases for PS4 this year. Developed by Naughty Dog/Sucker Punch/Sanzaru/whoever.

Cerny walks to the stage and is like one more thing. With NEO he can truly achieve his dream game and he reveals Knack 2 with the crowd going nuts.

So the hype begins.

I expect to be shown a revision to both Sony's and Microsoft's consoles. Nintendo will definitely have hints at the NX, but won't show it.
A lot of Zelda in-engine gameplay, releasing both on WiiU and NX.

A big big focus on Persona 5, with a solid release date.
Sony will have more info and some release dates on NieR:Automata, Dynasty Warriors: Eiketsuden, The Last Guardian, World of Final Fantasy, Tales of Berseria, New Danganronpa V3, Shenmue III, Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice, Detroit: Become Human, Kojima Productions' Untitled new project, Ni No Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, Yakuza 6, Final Fantasy VII Remake, The Last of Us 2, Gravity Rush 2, WiLD and God Of War 4.

EA will definitely show Mass Effect Andromeda gameplay and a concrete release date.

From SE, we can expect more info on Kingdom Hearts III, Final Fantasy VII Remake, Complete Edition of Rise of the Tomb Raider for the 3 platforms, Dragon Quest XI, World of Final Fantasy, NieR:Automata, Final Fantasy XV, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided and Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithlessness.

A LOT of VR coming from all sides, 1/4 of the conferences or more focused on that.

Even though Sega won't have a conference, I expect a lot of announcements and dates from them. Yakuza 6 localization started, same for Etrian Odyssey V, 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim and Valkyria: Azure Revolution. Shin Megami Tensei IV: Apocalypse exact date for NA and an announcement for Europe (ffs sega [or atlus], don't screw us again). New release trailers for Tokyo Mirage Sessions ♯FE, Hatsune Miku: Project DIVA X, Rez PS4 and Persona 5. New games in the Sega All-Stars and Sonic series, both probably for smart devices. New announcements: a new Virtua Tennis for current-gen (since we don't have any Tennis games aside from Nintendo's ones) and a new Mega Drive collection.

CDPR might hit us with a new Cyberpunk 2077 trailer, to keep the hype up, even if it's just CGI.

2K will announce a new Red Dead, BioShock: The Collection and a hint a the next GTA.

From Ubi, I really just want to know more about South Park: The Fractured But Whole, and expect the rest of the conference to be about mobile and "casual" games and a lot of failed attempts to integrate memes in the presentation. Watch Dogs 2 will certainly have a presence.

Anyone want to put money on the Mako in Mass Effect: Andromeda handling like the Batmobile in Arkham Knight (i.e. you hit a button to make it come to you and it turns into a hover tank for combat)?

Just waiting on Sony's date so I can take off Monday for them and MS.... Nintendo I'm sry I will not be tuning in this year.... Disappointed

Since Bethesda has another conference this year.... new Mikami/Tango game? Do they still have a contract? Since Mikami wants to do experimental games with fresh blood, it'd be sad if he was stuck with Evil Within 2 though.
