I'm not worried about NX, that'll come in its own time, but the lack of ZeldaU in 2016 is just going to make the Zelda blowout coverage annoying as much as anything.

Based on the last few years of E3, I'm only really looking forward to Ubisoft's show for the entertainment value.

Sony and MS have got into the habit of showing stuff way too early to win empty PR points, so the only thing I'm interested in from either of them is a firm TLG release date from Sony.
 
MS conference:

Opens with Gears 4 campaign footage
*in no particular order*
ID@Xbox sizzle reel, including some new Cuphead esq games that are announced as console exclusive
New Age of Empires
Summer of Arcade announced - features Ashen, Cuphead, Below, Inside.
Recore footage, launching summer
Sea of Thieves footage, delayed until spring 2017
Crackdown multiplayer footage, beta available after the show
Phantom Dust reappears, huzzah!
Halo Wars 2 footage and release date
Gigantic trailer and release date
New Xbox 360 BC trailer with games coming soon
Dashboard updates coming up including background music, Cortana, new store ect
Windows 10 game status update and how they are promising to make things better for real this time :P
Xbox Original titles coming with achievements and such ala PS2 classics
New Skybox Labs title

My predictions for Sony's conference:
GT Sport gameplay
The Last Guardian release date
Horizon: Zero Dawn release date
Sucker Punch's new game (Spiderman?)
God of War 4
Crash Bandicoot
Some third parties, including one or two indies.

I really want to see Crash Bandicoot.

PS4 Neo reveal. God of War 4 is the main focus attached to it
GOW4 trailer. Norse/Kratos reveal.

are people seriously expecting The Last Guardian? didn't they just show it last year? i think it's safe to say they're working on it so hard atm that they don't have time to prepare a trailer or gameplay demo. they want to focus on making the game. be patient, it will be at E3 2017/2018 and we'll get a trailer and release date then most likely.

Considering it was given a 2016 release year last year, it's been almost a year since we've seen it and Sony execs have (recently) re-iterated that it is a 2016 release people should expect to see TLG at this E3.

revivals! Now that all hope is lost for Nintendo at this year I'm putting extra faith in the other companies.

Why is that?

They should have new footage for several previously announced games. Gears 4 and Halo Wars 2 should have grand showings.

I don't know what MS has on the first party front in the oven but I imagine they'll have something third party related.

They should have a solid show.

This may have been pointed out already, but are the date and times in the OP correct? E3's website says it runs from June 14-16. Plus June 12 is a Sunday, do they usually do conferences on the weekend?

Conferences are before the actual convention opens. Bethesda already was very early last year.
 
2016 will officially be the first E3 I attend. Above all else - surviving the showfloor, hopefully playing at least...one game...and chatting to some like-minded people - I just want to experience the Sony press conference crowd in person. From past broadcasts, that's often a whole other kettle of fish as far as crowds go.
 
I can't wait until the first day of June. That's when hype will get me and we'll start getting all sorts of teases and rumors.
 
took the whole week off, couldnt resist once again.
And when i was at it, just took the whole SGDQ Week off, too.
 
I just want a badass gears 4 trailer with some kingdom hearts deets and a cool Zelda demo. I'm keeping it simple so my expectations don't get crushed like usual.
 
With Nintendo I guess they will have a 1 hour direct which mainly focuses on Zelda...

So:

30-40 minutes of Zelda
20-30 minutes of 3DS and Wii U

Or

20 minutes of Zelda
10 minutes of 3DS and Wii U games
 
With NX out, Dishonored II, Horizon, and Zelda are the only things I'm really jazzed about. I mean Deus Ex as well, but that's already so close to release that I just don't need to see more of it. I want to see RE2make but I make no hopes of seeing it this year. This would be about the time that Injustice 2 would be announced going by Netherrealm's schedule.

The TLG, FF7, and Shenmue announcements last year meant nothing to me but a chuckle of "huh, guess they're really gonna do that now, huh?"

Is Persona 5 likely to be there in any capacity?
 
I'm expecting some news for Horizon Zero Dawn.

I'm not sure what we can expect from Zelda. It is the only game presented by Nintendo but they won't show the NX version of it. It's going to be weird.

You shouldn't have too much trouble getting to play Zelda.
