For some of you above talking about Twitter, its fine for entertainment skimming tweets for laughs, but dont take it serious. Think about it. It's random people posting as if they are legitimate news sources complete with commentary half the time. As if their 100 character tweet is on par with a 60 Minutes investigation.

I dont know one person personally who has bothered trying to make a career out of twitter or YT. Every person I've check up on to see what they write is a combo of ZERO posts (they made an account but never did a tweet or retweet), or they made their account in 2014 and have a whopping 50 posts. And almost all of them are boring retweets about local news or sports.

When you've got a decent job and other people you know are peers with decent jobs too, nobody tweets all day trying to drum up followers to make a career out of twitter or YT with clickbait content to make click money.

I used to be more social at work, mainly lunch since it’s the only time I get to socialize with adults, but it just turns into a political shitstorm. We all have the same ideology, but some of them are so extreme and use Facebook as their news platform. When they talk about vaccinations, they quote all of these Facebook posts. When I ask where they get the facts to back it up, they get offended and tell me that it’s all on Facebook. How frustrating.

Lol. Sorry, if somebody told me they got their facts from Facebook, I'd find really hard not to just burst out laughing.

Facebook, Twitter and TickTok are all terrible for spreading lies and misinformation. They should all be avoided.

I was in a sorta political job until this past summer and I'm so glad to be free from that trash. I don't do any outrage culture anymore. Facebook, Twitter, news outlets and tv stations. My life is way more enjoyable now. I may have swung too far, because I'm also currently disconnected from any desire to vote, but we'll see.

Because of my past, people still tell me some political gotcha some dunce made on the public stage every once in a while, but I couldn't care less.

Those aren't really hypocrisies when you account for the fact that most people at BLM protests were masked, while those at the capital riot weren't (and after a certain point forced themselves indoors and exposed people to their plague-ridden asses), but okay.

There's a vast difference between the top pictures and the bottom pictures:
