Are there any good adventure games on android? Something like Broken Sword?
Thanks for the replies. I was kind of getting the impression that the Android game selection wasn't quite on par with Apple, but I figured you guys could give me a definite answer.
Does Android also have it's own exclusives that aren't on Apple's platform? Anything especially worth checking out?
You sir win, i rage quit after my second play at it![]()
My one day* app just went up on the Android market. Act quickly and be the first person to download it!**

No, I just suck at tilt controls, they aren't that bad lol.Fraid not, Are the tilt controls shite? I haven't been able to test on many devices and would be interested to know.
Haha ok, well it was just a game I threw together in a couple of days, if it ever deserves an update I'll be sure to include alternate control methods.d[-_-]b;32878155 said:No, I just suck at tilt controls, they aren't that bad lol.
I played it for a while and it's quite fun! Good little distraction that reminded me of Geometry Wars, but different.Haha ok, well it was just a game I threw together in a couple of days, if it ever deserves an update I'll be sure to include alternate control methods.
Can I get games off the Android Market. Like Chu Chu Rocket, Smurfs or Minecraft and play it on my Kindle Fire?
Are they any good turn-based rpgs? It feels like every rpg on the market is an arpg and forces me to use stupid touchscreen thumbpads.
Acclaimed game developer Halfbrick today announced that one of its biggest mobile titles of 2011, Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots, will be available for Android devices on Monday, November 28. It will be available exclusively through Amazon and is optimized for the newly released Kindle Fire.
As part of its Cyber Monday promotions, Amazon will offer Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots as the Free App of the Day. Following the promotion, Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots will be available through Amazon Appstore for $0.99.
There's also Scummvm for playing the old PC adventure games, including Broken Sword.

Sleepy Jack, from the creators of Cordy, is one of the best looking games on the market. Amazing visual style, fun shooter mechanics, great game. U$ 1,99.
Yeah, that hasn't been there before.Madden NFL 12 (Kindle Fire Edition) just showed up for me, but it says its been there since the 21st. Downloading now.
Can someone start a Kindle Fire Gaming Thread?
Yeah, that hasn't been there before.
Do we really need a KF-specific gaming thread? I'm not against it, but I'm not sure it warrants that ... yet!
what's the best tower defense/rts types games on here that you can play on a 3.7 screen?
I would like one so I don't get excited every time a new game pops up on the Aneroid Marketplace and not on the Amazon App Store.
Yes it is disappointing to see the thread for a game only to find that its not in the Appstore, plus now that there are Fire editions it would make sense. Ive been thinking of getting Madden, how was it?
Jelly Defense. I don't usually care for tower defense games but that one is a gem.what's the best tower defense/rts types games on here that you can play on a 3.7 screen?
Good news is Mad Finger Games has submitted Shadowgun to the Amazon App Store and will be Kindle Fire ready!
Now this has made my morning. I look forward to playing it on the Fire. Now we need Square to hurry and announce their Android portal for places other than Japan. Jelly Defense sounds familiar, may have to give it a shot too.
How do you already know what the App of the Day is for tomorrow?
Sweet. Thanks!Halfbrick announced it'll be exclusive to the Amazon App store for Android and it'll be the free app of the day on Monday(tomorrow).
I don't see this on either store on my phone. Is it tablet only?...Make sure you get Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots tomorrow as its the free app of the day.
The Tiki Golf was still listed as App o' the Day for Amazon when I loaded up the store this morning before coming to work.I don't see this on either store on my phone. Is it tablet only?
