The way I would assume it works is to create a titanium backup (or whatever other backup you use) of that app and its data. Then reload it on the device. I believe that will work. I don't know if moving to a new device fucks something up though.

I use mybackuppro, not always working and requires rooting. I'm using my new phone/tab for 2-3 months before rooting, still waiting for my nexus 7. Using titanium/mybackup may mess up things when you transfer app+data across different flavours of android.

I can't imagine playing Metal Slug 3 with touchscreen buttons. The game is tough as nails even with a control pad - it's a game that demands precise controls.
 
Are there any good detective/mystery/whodidit point-and-click adventure games on android? I enjoyed The Secret of Grisly Manor although it was pretty short.
 
Looking for any game that might be remotely similar to that FTL game. Anyone know if such games exist?

I do have Star Traders RPG. I'd just like something that has a bigger map and more of a focus on ship maintenance.

There was an ad-supported version, but I wasn't happy with the revenue from it, plus I didn't like how it made the table even smaller so I removed it from the store. You're the first person to compliment the new icon, so thanks!

try space: uncharted if you wanna play something online. its sort of like a online rts civ/advance wars. very very confusing until you figure out what to do.

I wish we had an updated roundup of games. I just got my S3 (had an Asus Transformer for awhile, though), so I'd like to play some new games. The OP hasn't been updated in over a year. There's probably been so many good games come out since then.

Is there a reason the android version of Monsters ate my condo runs soooo slow compared to the uos version? I'm on a Galaxy Nexus and it sometimes hits the single digits with bad audio lag....

Major Mayhem plays like a love letter to Time Crisis and Virtua Cop. It also runs amazingly well on my Galaxy S (first gen)!

Bravo. This game is so good that I actually want to spend money on the in-app purchases to support the developer.

I approve of this post. I almost didn't try this game, but I'm glad that I did
 
Final Fantasy 3 is now listed as having 50,000+ installs...at $16. The 'Android users don't buy games' argument is now more dead than ever.

I think it's pretty safe to say that we'll be seeing more Squeenix in the play store soon.

For some reason on my Galaxy Nexus (running 4.1.1), if I play the game for a while, I get either a graphical glitch or a reboot and I'm not sure why. The graphical gltich may have been because my CPU was underclocked, but a reboot just happened to me when I was playing for 15 mins with everything left at stock speeds. I'm not sure what's causing this and I haven't seen anyone else with issues. I've played more graphically intense games like Dead Trigger and while there has been some lag when the action is heavy, it never causes my phone to reboot.

This screenshot doesn't capture how bad it really got, but you can see what I mean:

It was released less than two weeks ago, to little fanfare. 50,000 already at that price point is great for a port of a port of a remake, and I'm sure SE will be falling over themselves to bring more titles to Android now. 3000 ratings with an average score of 4.6 on the Play Store is also good indication to SE that there is demand for more and potential for building a loyal userbase on Android.
 
Monsters ate my condo is wonderful. I love the look and the music is great too. Controls are fine.

I hope to see new modes, achievements, or a leaderboard section. ..my only issue with the game is my battery seems to drain really quick when I'm playing it. Maybe I'm playing it too much though. :-P

I highly recommend the game. Especially if you're into fast paced puzzle games (tetris, tetris attack, puzzle league, etc...) It's addictive.

Shame they don't know how to prices mobile games, though. Like fuck am I buying it at that outrageous price.

I'm sure they don't give a shit, mind, it still sold.

its one of those angry birds type games except its a princess kicking soldiers and bombs to attack enemies... it has a whole rpg battle, loot, and level up game wrapped around it. when you kick a soldier they keep attacking the enemy every round until they get killed.

so far after every level it gives me a slot machine pull to get free loot... but then it says I can get more slot pulls by linking my facebook and twitter and announcing things I did in the game...like after every level it wants me to announce to get more slot pulls... I dont wanna be spamming my friends with that so I will just make a fake fb and twit to use with this and other games that ask that.
 
Can anyone recommend a multiplayer tablet game? I feel like something I can play with the girlfriend on car rides up to the cottage would be great.
