Raiden Legacy is amazing. 5 bucks for 4 arcade shooter games with a pixelated filter. Looks wonderful on my N4 at 60 fps.

The movement is terrible though. You don't move enough for how far you move your finger. You should never have to pick up your finger and move it to move to the edges of the screen. Cave got this very right, but the Raiden games feel terrible.

I think the PowerA website finally went kaput. After waiting about 15 minutes for the checkout to load, I got a connection reset error. I hope they don't run out of stock, I really want one of those controllers.

Same. I had the Moga in my cart, the code worked, but when it came time to register the site died. :-(

I have a terrible feeling they'll be all gone before I can finish my order.

Yeah, they probably will be. On their facebook they said the site is just being slow due to traffic, but a lot of people are saying it's just not working. I'm getting the connection reset page every 2 minutes now, instead of every 15 minutes.

All that's missing is error 37.

Here's what the website currently says:

Wow! You must really like MOGA!
Don’t worry, the deal is still on.

We have temporarily taken down PowerA.com due to the overwhelming response.

Please check back as we will be back in business shortly!

Didn’t get your order in? Don’t worry, we will be extending the offer.
Be sure to Follow us on Facebook & Twitter for more updates as it becomes available.

I had just finished creating my account and stepped outside for a smoke while waiting on the checkout to load. At least they are extending the offer, which is very nice of them.

Guys, the Curse is free for this promo.

Grab it while you can. I heard pretty awesome things from it from some gaf members.

I hope it's good! I bought a shitty weather app earlier on a gaf recommendation!

I agree with you. Its not as good as it should be but I'm still having a blast with it.

I just ordered a couple of GameKlips the other day - one for my phone and another for my Nexus 7
Can't wait for them to arrive - I've got SNES, Genesis and GBA emulators working with my controller along with Vice City and Dead Trigger.

Is there a decent list of DualShock 3 compatible games on Android?

US only on that Moga controller's special offer? At this rate I will be stuck with a wired controller forever! There are no suitable cheap bluetooth controllers in the uk.

I was able to get a moga a few hours ago. Got my email confirmation too. Can't wait took try this thing out with an emulator. Playing pokemon should be fun on my nexus 7. Hopefully my order goes through.

I got my order through! The site was fairly responsive now so they must have brought a new cluster of web servers online. I just recently got a Galaxy SIII so this is perfect timing since I don't have a Vita/3DS and I'm struggling to find good games on my iPad.. so this should be my couch/handheld gaming device for now.

Any good game recommendations for Android with built in gamepad support? I'd love to have 4-5 to go games.

edit. Paid $4.95 for shipping, that was it.

Same. I haven't gotten the confirmation email though

That's interesting. First time I've heard of this being done, and I wonder why others don't do this to bypass the limitation. I do think it would be better if Google removed that rule though.

I agree that the rule should be removed. It seems to really invigorate app purchasing on iOS, especially for titles as their hype dies down. Of course if they remove this version it would mean no further updates, and that's probably important for a lot of games. It's all kind of silly.

Damn, you're right, no more updates. Or maybe they could increase the price arbitrarily to 1000$ or something to make sure others don't buy it, but it still remains in the store and gets updated.

This whole thing is daft. What is the official reasoning behind this rule anyway?

Who knows. We haven't even had prepaid cards that long. Hopefully they're thinking about this stuff. Google has been doing a lot with all of their official apps in the last couple of months so I think they're making a push to improve everything.

Neither have I but I'm not worried, I suspect their mail relay servers are simply hammered right now. I ordered something Nordstom.com the other day and it took 5 hours to get my conf email .. its just the holiday/sale traffic.

Well they're slacking in the Play store for sure. They need to do a better job in making apps more visible and adding better search filters. Also, the app got wishlist functionality a couple of months ago and the web store still doesn't have it afaik. Google really should look at the ios app store or even Steam to get a few ideas on how to do digital distribution.

Just wanted to update that several hours after my purchase of the MOGA+Modern Combat 4 I finally got my confirmation email. Like I was guessing their relay servers were likely queued like a mother fucker and took hours to clear.

Check your email if you were expecting one still. I got my order in before they announced they were out of controllers.

Hey guys, any good point and click adventure games other than Broken Sword? Any recommendations are much appreciated :)

Broken Sword 2 is out on Android as well, although I haven't played it so I can't vouch for it's quality. You could always load up ScummVM for older P&C games. Pendulo Studios 'Yesterday' is also a recent P&C release but I would say the game is kind of average overall.

The Curse is fucking AWESOME. Seriously guys, check it out. Pleasantly surprised at how great it is. These damn puzzles are sweet!!

If you download Curse now and it goes to not free later, can you still download it for free in the future? Like does it count as a purchased item or not?
