Ok friend-shill alert. This is my buddy Bob's game, Come Puffy. the name is lol-worthy but it's pretty fun the more I play it. It's a swipe based maze game.

I don't like the button layout, especially replay, and the back button exits the app without confirmation, which can be annoying if you accidentally swipe into it. I've given him this feedback and hopefully he'll fix it. Overall though it's a good game, kinda got that "easy to learn, difficult to master" hook going when flinging your fish around going for really low times.

I just found Sims FreePlay. This would be the first Sims game I ever played. Yeah, it's addicting. :\

Seems like all EA games aren't available in Germany :/ I thought we would be over this shit by now but Google really holds up the region lock flag.

Okay so I bought Jet Set Radio. Its on sale for $1 right now. I have this issue and when I start the game up, it infinitely starts up and never loads unless I press the back button. The game is playable after that, it saves and everything but it definitely needs to be looked into getting fixed by Sega. The game is still 1.0 so I'm not sure if they ever will update.

I second Expendable Rearmed and Pew Pew or the paid sequel, pewpew2 are good ones too. I used to enjoy minigore too but wasn't sold with Guerrilla Bob.

Can anyone recommend me a good turn based strategy game for android that's similar? I guess the closest strategy video game I can think of is Civ 5.

Meh. I've started it two times but, never really got more than an hour or two into it. Shooting in it is pretty bad.

Looks great. I've played through 90% of it but It's so repetitive I just couldn't take it any more!

It's not bad, and I actually thought the controls were pretty good for a touch screen shooter, but like Horseticuffs said it gets really repetitive relatively quickly. It's better than Mass Effect Infiltrator, at least.

If you follow the blog, they'll frequently publish a post like this that has a list of new stuff. That's an app post but, they will do new games posts as well. They also do single posts on apps and games.

As for searching the store, there is a list of best new paid and free apps. That's about as close as I could find though. The search bar itself seems limited to being a specific app search.
