Amazon Appstore has Cut the Rope: Experiments for free today. It's a very great, notable game that's very much worth trying.

Been playing Tetris Blast all morning, and am horribly hooked. Despite my dislike for all-things-EA, it's really good.
It's a pretty clever way of adapting Tetris for touch devices, definitely. But the aggressive IAP focus is a bit of a turn off :/
Does anyone have any recommendations I should get on my S3?
I'd like a F2P game I can check daily. Currently trying out Fantasica, but I'm having a hard time to find some allies. Tried the similar Blood Brothers but I didn't like it. I just wish I could find a decent game I can play daily, but one that doesn't rely too much on expensive purchases.
Also looking for some decent premium (paid) games. Only have game dev story, Rayman and 100000000 atm.

Really loved Game Dev Story. It started to lag every now and then on my S3 though :/
The only Kairosoft I enjoy besides Game Dev Story is Oh! Edo Towns. It's pretty much feudal Japan old-school SimCity. Well, not as complex as SimCity, but you get the point

Samurai Vs Zombies 2 is a good free game. No need for any purchases. I made it to wave 45/50 without paying a cent. Fun game.

What kind of bugs? I've been playing it for a couple of days and I haven't encountered any.
ahh i see. i bought it and it runs normal. it crashes sometimes though. (on a galaxy s3)
on some tablets or phones it doesnt work at all. on some, it just freezes from time to time.
Oh, that sucks. I've been getting some lags here and there, but I just wrote that off as my tablet being a dick.

I bought Towelfight 2. It's.... Okay... Somewhat. I sorta wish I had bought something else.
What else though. There's not much for people like me who aren't into the common mobile genres.
Yeah on my phone (Xperia Arc S) it crashes after every few missions. It's playable just very annoying. The update didn't really fix the problem for me either.
Crashes on my Nexus 7 more than I would like.

Have been playing Hero Academy on my Nexus 4 these past few days. Finally, my favourite mobile game on Android!
It's not available in all countries yet (Just Canada I believe), as there are still some performance issues... But aside from that, it's awesome!

Yeah. I'm disappointed that it doesn't appear to exist on Amazon's App Store.
I really need to kick my kids off the Kindle Fire 1 I have and convert it to an Android 4.2 tablet.
Yeah what I do is restart the game after every 2-3 stages. Great game.
No crashes on my nexus 4 after around 20 games.

So I have been playing a lot of kingdom rush and its great fun. However the gem store confuses me slightly. Am I expected to use those to complete certain stages. The game does get pretty tough.
Currently I have completed the story missions on normal. 3 starred all of them apart from 2 or 3 using no gems. However I am now doing the challenges on those same levels to get to 50 stars so that the new levels are doable. To get thought them I have sometimes been using bombs I bought with all the gems I made and also done a few on easy because I just want to max my skill tree at the moment.
Are these all meant to be able to be done with no gem items are are they needed?

You can complete all stages even on hard without using any gem purchased item. They are there just to make the game easier.

Ah OK. I have 3 stared all the normal campaign levels on normal now but only because I did some of the challanged and extra levels on easy using some gem items to get my stars up. Still havnt maxed out the whole skill tree though. need a few more for meteor shower spell to finish it. Makes all the difference thgouh because the few levels I didnt 3 star before I did pretty easily this time.
Gonna try to the challenges without using them as well (although I have like 30 dinamites there just in case lol).
I havn't ever liked a TD game as much as KR. Its just so well made.
Yes, it is. Looking forward to the sequel and hopefully it will come out on Android not too late.
A pretty buggy port though, at least for certain devices.

I laugh at your weak pixel dungeon skills. I made it up to the third boss, which I think is level 15 (could be 14). Was breezing through regular enemies at that point, but the boss utterly destroyed me. Shame, since I'll never have such a good set of equipment again...

I have been playing that new warhammer quest on my iphone. Hope it gets an android release as the phone is a bit to small and would be really great on a tablet. However they havn't bothered bringing hunters 2 over so I don't hold to much hope.

I was just in a similar situation; +4 blazing war hammer, nice armour, destroying all enemies and then the level 15 boss wiped out me out twice (ankh).
*Edit* Top of the page advice, get Pixel Dungeon and Kingdom Rush.
