Anomaly and Anomaly Korea are very similar (but excellent games). The recently released 2 is a huge step-up in every department. I'd play either of the first 2 (but not both) then skip to Anomaly 2.

Pity Drop7 appears to be abandonware on Android. No support for high resolution devices, dead leaderboards, some people reporting scores being forgotten.

Or am I just taking Play reviews too seriously?

just ordered this gamepad
"IPEGA Bluetooth 3.0 Game Controller"

the concept is sound,
the device has 4 connection modes,
among them keyboard emulation & normal bluetooth HID gamepad

there are some reports of not working devices though

right now my biggest concern is,
if it can hold a bigger Galaxy Note 2

it can be very cheap, if ordered from hong kong, about 10 bucks.
i ordered it from a local retailer for 22,50 EUR,
so I can give it back, if i do not like it
or have it replaced easily, if it does not work.

Not, I've purchased it on my old Captivate and in trying to use on my 10.1 tablet, it plays off to the corner. I've tried changing resolution, dpi, etc... to no avail.


I'm really waiting for Football Heroes to finally reach Android. It's made by a Gaffer by the name of Zeenbor

Because of popular request, we’ve been working with Zach Gage & Greg Wohlwend since March to see if we can create an Android version of Ridiculous Fishing. The breakthrough came when we met up with the folks at Apportable, who have a framework that allows them to port the game over to Android. That port is now almost done, and the next time you see us mentioning this should be when it releases. It might be sooner than you think.

My dad is getting a nexus 7 and i want to find him some good slot/card games. Preferably something straight forward and clean that doesn't need facebook integration(he doesn't use it). He was a fan of the old Hoyle casino games.

Some bundle impressions:

Swordigo is quite competent but holy cow, I don't remember when I last played a game so ugly. It needs to be seen to be believed, the art is the most atrocious looking thing I've seen in ages. No hyperbole. But again, the game itself is fine. Just strongly unsightly.

Spelltower is never leaving my phone, I'm often in the mood for a good word puzzle game, plus it's a lightweight. Great game.

Ridiculous Fishing... Why am I not getting this? I feel it's a bit overrated. I'm not enjoying it a lot. Oh well.

Kingdom Rush... Oh yes. Bundle worth buying, it's super close to Frontiers and I'm actually glad. Both KR games are the best phone games I've played <3

Will try more games tomorrow.






Good lord Swordigo is ugly.

Okay is there a program that completely shuts off the home button when Im playing games? Im finding that on my phone even if the home button is turned to a dot, it will still go off with one touch, not two like some internet threads told me.

This home thing just compounds with shadowrun's incredibly shitty save system and its a nightmare when im walking or sitting anywhere. If I put my finger anywhere near the side of the screen the game shits its pants and exits.

So far really digging rymdkapsel. It is simple, but I enjoy it anyways. Plus it seems rather hard if you don't take your time and do stuff in the right order.

Anyone here with experience on the SmartGlass for X1 app?
For some reason it doesn´t go to landscape view, and thus has lots of unused space an very tiny writing. Am I doing it wrong?

thats strange. could it be possible that you are looking at the wrong store page? not sure about WB but i know EA and R* have two seperate page for every app. one for US and one for rest of the world.

A couple of questions:

1. If I want to use a gamepad with physical buttons for Play Store games like Sonic 4 and GTA III and not for emulators, is there a simple way to do that? Is it up to the individual games to support it or is there a universal option?

2. I'm a casual NFL fan, and lately I've been wanting to test my amateur strategic prowess. Is Madden the go-to brand, even on Android?

Flick Kick Football Legends is pretty good. The micro transaction could be a bit of pain and the ads is ugly. I do like the gameplay however.

I may be late, but I bought Combo Crew to play because it had Viewtiful Joe in it.

The game us really fun. It has iap but they aren't necessary to enjoy the game. Good use of the touch screen.

What it is like? I was considering it because of the Street Fighter characters, lol.

Yeah its pretty cool. I thought it was complicated at first, but it isn't. You have a basic swipe attack, a charge attack, and four double swipe combos. You can buy additional combos with in game currency, so nothing game play wise is behind a pay wall.

Those attacks already played out sort of automatically so you need to pay attention to blocks and counter attacks. Only ha had it for 2 now, but I get the game play more now. Very fun.
