What is the appeal to this guy? I don't get it.

Well, I'm sure it's different for everyone, but for me he has a real passion for gaming, and it shines through whether he's shouting or not. I love his enthusiasm when a game he's reviewing is a good one - his Mount & Blade Warband - Napoleonic Wars review is a good example. And when he's reviewing a bad game, he points out where they went wrong, just how bad the game is... plus when he's angry over a bad game it's hilarious. A couple of years ago he started doing interviews, and he hasn't been afraid to ask the hard questions, to ask what the professional journalists won't. He'll ask what his viewers want to know, and if a game is shit he will say it to the developers responsible.

A fun reviewer, a true gamer with the balls to ask what paid journalists won't. Love the guy.

Pretty much. To me he's a genuine, enthusiastic gamer who got off his ass and did something with his passion for gaming (unlike many here I bet) by making entertaining videos and doing interviews asking questions gamers want answered. The more people like him out there, the better.

Nothing special about him. He's enthusiastic, very very passionate about games, likes to talk about them and is always honest about game related issues and calls out bullshit, overall a nice guy. I like watching his videos.

He's not trying to be a character as much as other reviewers. He's very passionate. He's a fanboy. He's one of us. I mean, I have friends who act similar to him because they have a love for games or movies.

Personal integrity? Forgiveness? Microsoft isn't my friend. I couldn't give two shits about them. I love games, period. They removed the shit that stopped me from buying an Xbone. Great, now I'll buy it.

If they decide to implement anything like this shit again, I'll drop em right then and there. It's a business relationship. They give me good games and games that I can use and sell freely, they get my money. They try to screw me again, that relationship is severed immediately as far as I'm concerned.

He is a genuine guy. I feel as though I can trust that it's his opinion, even if I don't agree with it. That's more than I can say for most reviewers.

I liked his recent videos because they were gamer friendly, but after seeing his PS4 console review, the guy did everything to undermine the reveal. In his first angry Xbox rant, he said that the controller did not evolve and did not include a pad, yet he did not not give the PS4 credit for including it. It´s ok with me that he is a Xbox loyalist or whatever, but being a hypocrite does not jive with me.

His reasoning behind this is because they weren't completely transparent about policies and infrastructure that they were still developing
They were in a position where they couldn't scream at the top of their lungs what they're fucking doing because they didn't want to over promise.

I really, really hope they introduce an opt-in for the features they were aiming for at the beginning.
