But Radiant is a french cartoon
Manga reader here but waiting for the season to finish then I’ll watchAnyone watch Attack on Titan S3E13 yesterday?! Ahhhhh, I'm so excited for this season.
There's actually quite a lot to it. Mainly the reference to Griffith trying to make the "second kingdom of Midland". There are a lot of people speculating thatRead the new chapter yesterday. It was basically nothing. A little bit of talk.
What I think is interesting that the Falcon is doing so much good and I’m not sure what his end goal is.

Finished watching The Vision of Escaflowne last night. Not sure why this doesn't get more love. It's a classic 90s anime. Plot is a bit nonsensical but there's a lot to love.
It reminded me in tone of Nadia and The Secret of the Blue Water - another extremely underrated show.
I think the script is kinda whack in parts which is why no one reps it but it does have iconic parts about it which is why no one forgot it. Kazuki Akane has done better series since. You should watch the movie for the animation but you may be disappointed in it if you expect much from it.Finished watching The Vision of Escaflowne last night. Amazing movie and good write-up.
Something you didn't touch on is the idea of a just/unjust war which I think is the driving point of the film.
Since WWII Japan has effectively been in a passive state owing to it only being an allowed an army to defend in case of it being attacked (the Japanese Self Defence Force). Where the film comes into its own is in questioning whether aggressors in conflict should be allowed to attack prior to being attacked themselves. Most of Japan would agree it is as within modern history Japan values its sense of peace - a concept that's a bit alien to western countries like the UK and US. From what I remember oshii seems to be asking whether it's worth losing a few lives to save potentially many more and what happens if that alters the ideological position of the country meaning that they become more 'engaged' in warfare in the long-run. This comes into its own in the film as Japan is being attacked by unknown forces - a political topic in the mid-90s after the Sarin gas attacks.
This has also been relevant of late too owing to Trump's refusal to foot the bill for US defence internationally. I'm not much up to date with Japanese politics but last I heard there was heightened pressure on Shinzo Abe to loosen his stance on being a defence-only country. This was much to the chagrin of Japan's more liberal population.
This is my favourite scene.

Nah. I still believe that we haven’t seen Guts full strength yet. Same goes to Schierke and SerpicoGriffith is Jesus at this point fighting against all the other "evil" beings while being affiliated with evil itself. Miura put his ass in a corner by making him this way and having an entire team of OP people.
Anyone else excited to see what Kishimoto does with his new manga, Samurai 8? Apaarently he's promised to make it bigger than Naruto... Sounds like a tall task, but the man is a legend. I won't doubt him.
Schierke and Serpico can't hold a candle to anyone in Griffith's OP party. Hell I think Guts himself would have trouble with either of em even in dog form.Nah. I still believe that we haven’t seen Guts full strength yet. Same goes to Schierke and Serpico
Doing so much good? After what????
The world has always been shit though. He didn't have to manipulate anything. Considering only evil exists in that world.
Oh no no friend. Schierke still haven’t discovered her full power yet. Serpico isn’t a man to underestimate too. Something will happen I can feel it! Farnese is included tooSchierke and Serpico can't hold a candle to anyone in Griffith's OP party. Hell I think Guts himself would have trouble with either of em even in dog form.
Correct. Sacrificing the only people that loved and believed in you just for his selfish needs. Griffith did EVERYTHING wrongGriffith fucked over the BotH to get back on the path to his perfect kingdom free of classes, which in turn involved fucking over the entire world with the global interstice to make everyone have to live in Falconia under his rules. An already fucked up world now has rapist trolls and all manner of other monsters from the id manifested in it.
Even if Falconia looks good, it is only because he made everything else such shit. He is kind of like Zero from MGS in that regard - to "save" the world, he manipulated it such that people have no choice but to live as he wants them to. So he definitely isn't the "did nothing wrong" type.
Don’t say thatWe'll see. In 30 years.
May 26thIs there a date for Berserk's next chapter or are we going to wait and hope it doesn't take as long as the last one?
May 26th
Shush nowMay 26th 2037!
At least it gets more updates than HxH.Shush now
I am. Outside the main character everybody needs to die in a fire out of being incompetent even for a shonen manga. Maybe everybody is just legit retarded like Power but at the same time the MC is thirsty as fuck.Anyone reading Chansawman?
This has to be the first shonen manga in a long time where I like the entire cast of characters ... I'm surprised this is on Shonen Jump
I think he is still a dick and just hiding it/scheming.Griffith is Jesus at this point fighting against all the other "evil" beings while being affiliated with evil itself. Miura put his ass in a corner by making him this way and having an entire team of OP people.
Yeah, it's decent enough. Character interactions are humourous which Fujimoto excels at. Nothing amazing so far but I haven't really read the recent chapters.Anyone reading Chansawman?

I don't see him losing to anything. He has been built up to live in triumph.I think he is still a dick and just hiding it/scheming.
He tries to get all of humanity in the one safe place he provides and then will offer them all up to be slaughtered or something like that imo.
It has too much violence to be on Young Jump.Yeah, it's decent enough. Character interactions are humourous which Fujimoto excels at. Nothing amazing so far but I haven't really read the recent chapters.
Kind of seems like it should be on Young Jump but it has the basic foundations of a Shonen title.
The manga is called Chainsaw Man and he rips shit up regularly. The last chapter I read has him rip a house sized flesh room to room demon while the other idiots do nothing. He transforms by ripping his own face in two. On top of it having body horror in almost every single chapter the first chapter in fact has him torn from limb to limb like Meaty was in Made in Abyss. No it doesn't lol.
Ah, since you made it obvious you haven't read anything in Young Jump other than Kaguya (and maybe Terra Formers?) I'll just point out the leap in logic in saying that a Shonen title could be too violent for a Seinen magazine.I guess it looks like kiddie shit next to Terra-Formars but eh, all the other series on that shit are things like Kaguya Sama so??? I read the VIZ scans.
The thing is, two of my favourite mangas are getting the same treatment. Berserk and VagabondAt least it gets more updates than HxH.
Yes, I confused Young Jump with the Shonen Jump. I found it weird you mentioned Seinen which is why I replied like that. I take it if you read them and are japanese or at least understand the language?Ah, since you made it obvious you haven't read anything in Young Jump other than Kaguya (and maybe Terra Formers?) https://hiatus-hiatus.github.io/Vagabond is the worst offender by far. At least HxH gets a batch of chapters every year or two. Even D.Gray-Man is getting new chapters every now and then (although the story is going in circles).
