Nah.. I used to watch AS religiously. Now due to TGTTM and Milk Chan I skip it all sometimes.

Tom Goes to the Mayor is complete garbage. The gags are completely killed by the asstastic voice acting. It's like if you took the Simpsons, then fired Dan Castenella (sp) and replaced him with a teenage stoner. But still have him do all the characters Dan does.

The shitty looking character photoshops don't help, either. There's nothing to identify with other than a bunch of random faces. Hell, the "Spirit of Xmas" South Park short has better animation! Oh, and it's actually funny.

Can't comment on VB, haven't seen it.

the best parts of TGTTM are the voice acting and the blue cutouts.

Hrm. A Boondocks cartoon. I'm really interested... Boondocks is one of the only comics I read. That and Opus, to relive memories of Bloom County. Le sigh.

And I still don't understand all of the TGTTM hate. It's constantly funny, produced and sometimes written by Bob Odenkirk, and it birthed Rats of to Ya, perhaps the funniest Christmas special ever. Out of the new AS lineup shows, TGTTM is the best. Followed closely by Venture Brothers, then below it all, including Perfect Hair Forever, is Super Milk Chan.

Milk Chan? Though, I was hopeful of TGttM, it didn't go anywhere I liked, can't see the funny in it. I like the style of the cutouts and whatnot, but the characters like a lot and the jokes always seem to fall dead flat. Horribly delivered as well. Milk Chan though... it's just.. just not funny. Whatever joke that had me going in the first episode was ruined by its overuse in the first episode. "You dumbass!" was a pretty cute and funny line.. the first 3 times.
