It might be some kind of prototype design, kinda like the early PSP picture we got (leaked, whatever) from that meeting.

Final will probably look more like this:

:D

You know, "LOL" is simply an internet reply. But I have to tell you that I quite literally Laughed Out Loud when I saw that! :lol :lol :lol :lol

are we sure thats a power button? maybe the power button is by the memory port b, and the circle of light just lights up when turned on.
Could be. Still looks kinda out of place imo.

There are no controller ports. That is obviously an IR port for a remote. The button with the curved lines next to it is obviously for turning on wi-fi or wireless for controllers.

It's not that bad. I mean look at the original Xbox, that is the absolute height of fugliness. Hell, it manages to make Carrot Top look good. Just be thankful it isn't worse.

Could've done without the concave sides though, they look pretty daft.

Controller and/or USB ports might be hidden behind that oval door? Sure, it's pretty certain the console will use wireless controllers, but there might be one or two standard ports as well for those who don't mind cables, and don't want heavier wireless controllers?

Could be where you connect them to recharge?

from what I've heard, that's where the HD goes

What possible benefit could there be in designing a concave console? I see no ostensible benefit. It's a bizarre design choice given that one of the nagging complaints about the original XBOX was its slightly convex design that did not allow stacking of components.

Maybe it will stack perfectly on top of the Xbox? =)

Coming from a DJ standpoint, maybe it's a way to deter people from placing drinks like soda, milk etc on it while playing.

I had to build a half plexygalss wall to keep people from spilling drinks (placed on the DJ booth window which oversee's the dance floor) into the DJ booth and all over mixing equipment.

Well, the concave bottom side allows for a relatively cool source of air to be sucked in and expelled through the back. The concave top side allows nesting of the convex-bottomed Revolution when the N-MS merger goes through.

I heard from a damn reliable source at Spong it's concave so it'll fit snuggly over the Jaguar and replace the current CD add-on.

Aliens Vs Predator 360 here I come baby............woooooooooooooooooooooooo :))

The bottom enclosure port is probably for the optional hard drive.

The giant power button looks stupid when it is horizontal, but it looks pretty good when the system is standing vertical.

So this is confirmed to be real? Why only 2 memory card slots instead of 4? I thought the mem card slots are going to be on the controllers?!

I really want a hard drive and I'm not too crazy about cordless controllers. My TV is less than 5 feet away so it's f'n pointless for me. Now I have to spend money on freaking batteries? What stupid shit...

Anyway the front part of that picture doesn't look too bad standing up. Anyone good with photoshop or whatever and can make it black or red to see how the thing looks in those two colors?

Holy damn!Batteries cost like 5 bucks and last hours upon hours :lol

I've only put like 2 new sets of batteries in my Wavebird and I play it quite a bit...
