Before the show began, the most talked about games that would be on display were Valve's Half-Life 2 and Counter-Strike: Source. Sadly -- although we kind of expected as much -- the version of Half-Life 2 set up was exactly the same version we wrote about at Vivendi's pre-E3 event this year, so there's nothing new we can reveal on that front, though Valve's Doug Lombardi did reconfirm that the game is on track to be completed in the next few weeks, so we shouldn't have to wait long to find out more. Counter-Strike: Source looks great, though, so check elsewhere on the site for our thoughts on that one.
