Anyone Delete HD Crap Loaded On X-Box 360?

Has anyone else deleted all the extra crap on the X-Box 360 hard drive?

I deleted all of the crap movies, I don't need the building of Titanic or creating the X-Box 360. I deleted all music samples, I will put my own music on there if needed. I deleted all Gamer Tag pictures, they stink. I only kept 2 icons, the one I use and some creature from Kameo.

I wish there was a highlight option, because deleting 50+ gamer pictures was a pain in the arse.

Apparently ~7 gig. At least that's what I hear from all the people bitching that the 20 gig hard drive only has 13 gig of free space on it.

The movies took up almost 1gb since they decided to put both English and French movies on the European machines...at 400mb each :lol I deleted everything I didn't want and I had 1gb more so I bet everything (movies and music) comes in at well over 1gb

Haven't deleted the Titanic clip yet, but the X360 fluff piece and the Adidas commercial went on day 1...

Anyone know how much space the included "soundtrack" takes up... not much, i imagine...

I haven't seen it yet, but a friend said the Titanic video in HD looked amazing and was a must-see. I'll definitely view it before I delete it.

I deleted it not only cause it was taking up space, but because the material didn't look so good anyway. I'm not sure if it was compression, but stuff I record from me HD cable box looks much better that anything that was on the hard drive.

Master Shake, don't worry I'm not getting any system right now either I just bought a HDTV so I gotta pay that off first before any game system but, I LOVE my new HDTV. :D

This is what the 7GB is used for, according to CVG:

1Gb of the 20 is reserved for the machine's OS, 2Gb is reserved for the Xbox Emulator to run smoothly and 4Gb is for game caching and other in-game software trickery - things like enhanced asset streaming and so forth.

I combed through the HDD and deleted most of the useless stuff. I kept all the gamer icons but made sure to delete the ugly OS themes however. The real killer on the HDD space will be the demos, that's for sure. I can also see the XBLA arcade games being a possible problem in three years time.

The machine's OS? So if you have a 'Tard Pack, with no HDD, your system isn't running the 360 OS? That doesn't make sense at all. Besides, that adds up to 7 GB and doesn't even mention the extra crap installed on the drive.

Oh, and a 20 GB hard drive is actually 18.6 GB or there abouts.

Is it for the extra features the HD gives you? All the WMC Extender software, etc.?

there was 1 really good song on there and the rest all sucked. The bands - girls - money song is so catchy

Did your XBOX 1 need one? Probably. Same thing I'd assume.

Was the Titanic clip removed from the European 360s? Because I certainly couldn't find it.
Guess so. All I can find is the stupid and bad quality Adidas commercial and some "cool and hip" snow sports video. :\
