Bacon of Hope
I had a while back when I was younger learned the six step and some basics, but now after watching some korean breakdancing videos (hiphoper.com, check it out under the "dance" section) I was inspired to get back into it. This weekend I almost busted my head open trying to do a windmill. I have been trying for about 2 weeks now and I am getting closer but I guess I could always use some tips on how to keep the rotation going.

So are there any seasoned breakers here? Anyone ever BATTLED for real? :)

I used to go to drum n bas shows, dance, break, pop, and hard-step with the b-boys n b-girls. HipHop was never big enough in the south SanAntonio/Austin area draw such talented dancers as warehouse parties used to, but hey. If the music moves you & you're enjoying getting your grove on it doesn't quite matter if there are banjos, polkas, or psy-trance playing. Just step to the beat and let it move you. Conscious thought on the dance floor isn't really my thing besides little lyrics I make up in my head and people watching. I just let the music move me.

I never tried spinning on my neck. Good luck with that, and keep the rest of your body in shape so you don't really break anything.
