Hey guys,

I'm currently in the process of moving into a new apartment and I'm pretty much working from scrap. I need EVERYTHING - towels, dishes, bed, desks, shower curtains, etc. etc.
I'm not a very good shopper and going all over town to compare prices and styles is a pain - which leaves me to finding everything online.

Overstock.com has a deal going on right now for $1 shipping on most things - many of which I need. I know they "guarantee" the lowest price, but from your guys' experience, is that really true? Are there better alternatives?

My fiance is moving in with me in a few months and I want to get the place looking pretty nice. I see lots of items there with huge discounts, but are they artificial? Like saying the list price of a TV is $500 and only charging $200 for it? GAF, help me with your all-knowing wisdom

:)

I've only bought DVDs from them. But outside of one large order which got enormously screwed up, they've been fine the other 10-15 times.

I bought a night stand or something through them. Everything went fine. I can't really comment on their overall prices, etc.

If you don't know this already, get bed sheets that are 100 percent cotton (Egytian is best) with high thread counts. There are few luxuries in life better than a bed with super soft sheets (Considering how much of your life is spent in it).
