Just wondering if anyone's tried this, and if so what they thought? Apparently, it's going the way of Guild Wars and is going to be free, or so the website says now, though you can download the client so I guess it's completely free whereas Guild Wars requires a game purchase (when the game's finished anyway).

How am I supposed to "score you some art"?? I don't have access to anything you don't. :lol

I am downloading the client now (200+ MB), so maybe I'll try it out. I need something to do before the next Guild Wars weekend next week.

I've played it, it's about as generic as they come.

I stopped playing after a day.

There are other open beta mmorpgs that you could be playing.

Ok, so it's a gen-u-whine MMORPG all right

They may fix the mechanics, they may hit balance nirvana, hell they may even keep some servers up for a respectable uptime beyond that reserved for shitty reseller webhosts - but they'll never fix the most broken thing in the game.... the playerbase.

No, there's another beta-event weekend next weekend. You download the client and use the code you get by either pre-ordering or finding it in magazines or something in order to participate.

at the moment there aren't any quality mmorpg's in open beta.

Risk Your Life is decent I guess

and Maple story if your into that 'anime-style'

both of them are pretty 'meh.
