I'm thinking of renting Monster Hunter for the weekend, but is anyone still playing it? And, as a newb, will I get smoked?

If anyone has any tips for me on, please let me know. It seems like a pretty good game, and since my shitty PIII-500 can't handle WoW or EQ2, I'd like to try my hand at this.

i've been kinda thinking about playing this recently, maybe just for a night or two
heh, maybe once every full moon or so

god, who was it again, me, you, tenchir, seismologist, gunstarr (heh, i would bag on the eagles, he would point to the cowboys' performances)
oh and chutzpah, too, he was a real good player

when i stopped playing mh it was the week gta:sa came out i was a rank 13 and burned out after playing the game for 160 hours
but after seeing it on g4 recently i remember all the good times i had online

but spike, if you want to rent mh post when you go online and if i'm available i'll definitely get on and show you the ropes (just no tips on being a gunner, as i've never used one in mh)

i'm still on regularly. i'll check Area P (but change to Brave world /Red land) if GAF wants to meet up again.

Im burnt out on this game. Its a cool game but I wish there was a deeper adventure feel to it. I want to go deep into the world like you can in FFXI instead of running around the short maps.
