BEYONCÉ Shatters iTunes Store Records With 828,773 Albums Sold in Just Three Days

Best First Week Album Sales & Number One in 104 Countries

BEYONCÉ also broke the US first week album sales record with 617,213 sold and proved to be a global success going to number one in 104 countries.

The self-titled, BEYONCÉ, is the fifth solo studio album from Beyoncé, which was made available exclusively worldwide on the iTunes Store on December 13 by Parkwood Entertainment/Columbia Records. I didn't know about that 25 mil in promotion until I listened to a podcast this weekend. There are some mad folks out there right now. Beyounce just pressed the "Be Great" button and the universe did all the work.

Can't really find full versions of the songs on youtube and the little I did hear of one song was total garbage. But it's pop, so of course people buy it in droves. Well to be fair Gaga had a lot of internal problems too. Like, her manager quit the week before release, and her label is still struggling to release shit, like the video for her next single. It's mostly been an issue of keeping people interested and her team is failing in that regard almost every chance they get.

ARTPOP is a great album, but the sad fact is that people didn't care about it.

It's mostly about the records set. Also, you have to consider the sheer amount of free promo she's getting, plus the fact that she just announced another leg of her tour.

She's raking in a shit ton of money for her label and they will pay her in kind.

Only the top dogs in iTunes and her record label knew about it. Physical production on the album didn't begin until it launched on iTunes. I mean people saw her shooting stuff but the rumor was she was shooting a calendar.
