It's pretty interesting to me, given my phone is still this:

Is it just me or does it feel like they're rushing and just piling all the new features on top of each other? Steve used to kinda let every meaningful upgrade sink in.
They've already covered iOS 6 and the iPhone 5 has no jaw dropping features. Just small (good) tweaks.

So far this is one boring show. And now we are stuck with one damn boring iPhone for the next two years.

It's a good upgrade. It's not revolutionary or deserving of all the (!!!!)s that fanboys give it, nor is it as remotely bad/bland as haters will label it. It's a phone. A really good phone.

Verge is just straight up trolling now.

"You take two fingers and you can change the camera angle." Seems to work just like Google Maps 3D view.

"I can get back to any of my content from any of my browsers on the go, it's called iCloud tabs." Sort of like Google's Chrome syncing between desktop and Android

They've already gone through most (if not all) of the iOS 6 stuff they're going through now earlier when they announced it, don't know why they're spending so much time rehashing.

I'm a little disappointed in a lack of NFC/Paypass stuff. I want to use my phone to buy things. I don't want to carry my credit card or a wallet at all.

I see a Virgin Mobile image on the live-blog stream. Did they mention launch dates yet? I just discovered the wonders of Virgin Mobile's amazingly low price plans that use Sprint towers (very good coverage in my area). It'd be nice to be able to buy a non-contract supersmart on day1.

If that's the case, $699 here I come.

I still don't see how this phone is better then say a Galaxy Nexus with Jellybean on it...

Apple apply yourself

Sub HD res ? the fuck ?

Still Dual Core?
3-4 hours browsing time on LTE/3G on the nexus versus 8 hours on the iPhone is the biggest advantage I think.

Pretty silly how people are getting mighty upset over something as trivial as an adapter.

As Liu would say, it seems like change for the sake of change.

Maybe I missed it, but does it add any advantage other than reversible connection?

People don't find having to toss out hundreds of dollars of their gizmos out now because it won't dock with the new phone. I figured it would happen eventually but yea I got a bunch of crap thats not going to work and adapter won't help. At least I didn't buy anything super high end because I figured it would happen eventually when I decided to upgrade.
