Im confused...

Does Lightning connect only connect to Thunderbolt ports?

Cause I can only think of a few products that have those...

I see a Virgin Mobile image on the live-blog stream. Did they mention launch dates yet? I just discovered the wonders of Virgin Mobile's amazingly low price plans that use Sprint towers (very good coverage in my area). It'd be nice to be able to buy a non-contract supersmart on day1.

If that's the case, $699 here I come.

I'm doing the same -- if it's available. But I think when he mentioned Virgin it was for Canada, not US.

Well, when are we going to get those all glass flexible phones? Last time i was amazed by a phone presentation was when apple showed the first iphone. Snore fest.

Screw you man, Apple only makes iPhones for those of us who already own iPhones.

When Apple announced a new iPhone, they set a benchmark and other OEM's have to compete with it. This time however, it seems that Apple are playing catch up. Nothing so far has excited or amazed me whatsoever.

As Liu would say, it seems like change for the sake of change.

Maybe I missed it, but does it add any advantage other than reversible connection?
It's smaller! That's like literally the only reason for it.

They haven't showed the landscape keyboard yet have they? I am a little worried this means they'll do the same shit implementation android 16:9 phones have versus a usable split keyboard like the iPad's.
