SUE! SUE! SUE! SUE!

Uhh but won't those same benchmarks just show the Apple devices in 1st or 2nd place anyway?

Yeah does it really matter? Apple usually never discloses those specs till the iFixit teardowns. It always runs better than any Android phone out there too.

The lanyard completely destroys the look of the product.
The lanyard actually signifies Apple's entry into the point and shoot market.

It represents how Apple think you will use it. Hell, no music player or portable media device needs a strap. It's cameras that do because of they way you hold it out stretched.

Now with iSight camera?

This is Apple's Digital camera.

and you know what? It's a digital camera that can have a full photo editor installed. Full online web sharing features.

It's crazy how accurate the iphone leaks were...even down to the Sept. 21 launch. Almost as if Apple was feeding this to the "leakers" lol

For 680€ (16GB? ridiculous) this isn't enough. I'm waiting for the Nokia 920 reviews.
The camera was the only thing that wasn't known to me before the conference and it doesn't exactly sound like a milestone...

For me the LTE is enough to switch from my 4.

Although I was hoping today would make my decision easy between the 5 vs S3

Not sure right now...

Might as well go 5. There was/is something you liked about the iPhone that made you keep it instead of going with any of the various 4G capable devices (of which there are many), so now that the 5 has it the decision seems exceedingly clear.

They will not say what's inside the A6 chip. So are they really going with ARM Cortex-A9 again?

Question to ordering veterans:

My brother and I want to switch to Verizon Wireless. We are on a 2 person family plan, but he lives in another state.

I want to buy 2 iphones, get them shipped separately to different states, but still activate together onto a family plan. What's the best way that I should do this?

Just spoke to a non-GAF friend, who said he was similarly underwhelmed by iPhone 5 and iOS 6, which is reassuring.

I still expect the thing to post record sales, I just don't think I'll be one of them this time.

Goodbye iPhone, you've been so good to me :'(

Those buttons on the new Nano, I wish they'd have a toggle in the music app on iPhone to let you use the volume control like that. Being able to skip tracks without taking the phone out of my pocket would be great.

It's obviously going to cost more than $300...that should be obvious now. I'm going to say $399 for base model.

If they just replace the iPad 2 with the mini that would suck big time. And although I have an iPhone and an iMac it would make me seriously consider a Nexus 7. Google's Pricing just makes more sense.

I love the Foos (Wasting Light was one of last year's best) but ending an Apple conference with a band seems weeiiiirrd.

Uh, they've done it at pretty much every iPod/iTunes reveal since the early days. It's a long-standing tradition Steve started.

They've had LOTS of musical acts close shows over a number of years.

I actually hope there's nothing else compelling released before my Feb. contract comes up. I'd be interested in checking one out.

But I'm sure something else will steal the thunder.
