What gave you the idea we were leaving Iraq on the 30th? Even though were transfering power over to the Iraq Interim Government, our troops aren't coming back home this summer.

Yeah, that was never the plan.

In fact, the latest estimates say U.S. troops could be present in Iraq for years.

Yes, we're leaving on the 30th...but unbeknownst to the rest of the world we'll be deploying our top sekrit weapon to take over operations once we depart:

Yeah, i'm dumb.. i want to say leave them control, I don't know how we are going to be able to do it. It seems like we're just going to formally hand control over, yet still be basically running the country.
