What is the resale value on a brand new Xbox? $150? Are Xboxen going to be scarce in the coming months? I haven't been keeping up with what Microsoft has said regarding production of the original Xbox post-360 launch. I don't mind holding onto it in it's unopened condition if there's any chance that I can charge more for it in the future.

A lot of great XBOX games do not work on 360 right now. I can't afford to ditch it...

I wouldn't anyways. I will never get rid of any consoles again. I regret doing so when I was younger...

No 360 for me. 360 BC is a misnomer. It's Backwards Patchable.

The Core/Premium pack fiasco switched me in to cheap gamer mode. It's a good thing too. I can get way more games for my money.

I'll probably get a 360 when PS3 hits, then wait a year on the PS3. Fuck initial launch purchases. I always regret it later on down the line because I had to wait for the few games I really wanted to play to hit the streets.

I don't want to spend premium price on these machines dammit, and I would rather wait for them to work some of the kinks out of the system if there are any.

Even if I were getting a 360 Tuesday, I'd be hanging onto my original Xbox because only one of my games is backward compatible; the other six or seven aren't.
