Playing tag in choppers is more fun than it should be.

Just rented a server. I'll get it set up in the morning. It's based out of L.A though, so some of you may not like that. I'll post more info soon.

Heh I simply used Dslyexci's and turned off the lean/zoom axis.

Can't promise that it'll work for you. I find these profile setups very individual. I like smooth action and being able to do wide looks without twisting my neck. Also turned up the lean sensitivity completely so a slight headtilt will give you full lean yet still give you all the range for a gradual lean with a slight tilt.

Can't remember if the profiles contain Motion Control settings but they are 0.4 Speed and 12 Smooth.
I'm an Insurgency guy myself but these pubs sure are loving Wasteland.

I've always kinda stored Insurgency in my brain alongside Counterstrike, not Arma.
I don't know why anyone enjoys Wasteland. Arma PVP has always been ass. Only exception is Insurgency because the play-styles for each side are rather different.

That's a good point I completely forgot about Counter Strike Insurgency
PvP actually works pretty good in ArmA 3 compared to previous games. TDM can be quite fun with 10-15 people on mumble. I wouldn't buy it just for PvP, but it is nice to have some variation.

Insurgency is damn hard. If I had had more than 45 mins of sleep in the last 24 hours I think I'd be in heaven.
Edit: Neogaf server should be up and running tomorrow. It just got configured. I will most likely be running Insurgency for the time being once I get ahold of the mission files, i'll throw in some other modes from time to time upon request. I'll post more info tomorrow.

Christ almighty it's hard to enjoy the game with friends right now. The host FPS tanks so badly, the host can't play. In an area I usually get 60FPS locked in, will drop to sub-10 sometimes when I'm hosting a small mission for two friends. Hope they sort this out soon.

Going back and forth between A3 and A2 quite a lot with ST. The main thing I miss is the different stances and tactical pace. A2s graphics I can live with
Actually my main concern is Steam keeping track of how much i'll be playing A3.
Me and a friend had the same problem. It isn't even the bump in graphical fidelity that is my main concern, A3 just nails the natural colours and feel so beautifully that A2 looks like an iOS game gone wild in comparison. The lighting makes a lot of game look awful in comparison actually.

Holy shit, I think I just found the holy performance grail!
In the main village, I was hitting 30-40FPS when walking around and when the mountains got into view.
Now, locked 60 completely. I can turn around at full speed with no dips and no stuttering as objects load.
Will test it further and make sure it isn't a fluke then I'll come back and share the dirty secret.
