Just owning a gun is not a crime and he didn't even point it at him. The report of no warnings being given is just icing on the racism cake.

In a case where it's necessary, I think you should. lol. I've seen a lot of first page outrage that turns to silence a couple pages later when more evidence was released.

Some "facts" are there for people to feel good about sustaining their prejudice and feeling good about how little black lives matter to them.
This is a fucking massacre that has continued for too long. Everyone has failed from Jefferson to Obama. People can rationalize it with their individual facts all they want in order to solidify their self deception and avoid confronting the issue of systemic racism in the USA that affects the minorities that inhabit the country.
The only option is to become the night to catch the criminals yourself and show up the cops at their own job. Batman knew this.
It's a problem because he survived. It's harder to create a BS narrative, and dig up any and every piece of dirt you can to smear the victim's name because they can actually defend themselves better than a bullet-riddled corpse can.
I foresee a new service that Black and non-white families can use. They can hire a white representative to speak on their behalf if they have to interact with police. Get pulled over too much? Hire a white straight male to ride in the car with you. If you need the police to come to your home hire a white representative to meet with the police.
Seriously if a white guy can kill 2 people and get caught eating one of the faces of the victims and not get shot by police yet so many Black people do for less offenses if any, this country is so fucked up.

The problem is the same as in the book "The Psychopath Test". The alleged signs that you are a psychopath are so broad that even attempts to explain you're not a psychopath are signs you are a psychopath in the eyes of the psychiatrists. It's the same here even actions you make to show you're not a threat will make you appear like a threat in the eyes of the officers.

As recent as the early 2010s, I'd read conservatives refer to the police as "government thugs" (am I being detained am I being detained). Most of those people have completely changed their tune in support of cops.

Really the only way to not be accidentally shot while black is to have a young, reasonably attractive white woman close enough to you that they'll worry about hitting her. The instinctual feeling of not wanting to shoot a white woman is far stronger than the one for shooting a black person, and those moments could make all the difference. If you don't have one nearby, a cardboard cutout of one could probably suffice
You may be on to something. White Person Safety Escorts. $2k per month gets you a white person with you at all times, home and travel. Be safe from police and most occurences of racial profiling. Just need to start that LLC up.

Swear every time you respond to me you're bringing up systematic racism like I don't know damn well it's the problem. Still, if I deem the situation in need of further evidence. I will choose to not assume the worst, and wait until I have the evidence.

Unfortunately, I think that sometimes they'll just assume you're about to rape the woman in question and will just run at you with their guns to try to either get close enough to shoot you without hitting the woman or to scare you into running so you'll break up from the woman so they can shoot you safely.

Training among other things need a major overhaul. The truth is training relies too heavily on shoot first methodology. It is drilled into the Police head over and over how you need to react fast or die.
It happens far too often to all races on calls like these. I would never call the police to my house for any sort of dispute unless it was the last resort because it happens too often a call to the police to try and deescalate something or to respond to a crime and the police do something stupid that costs lives.

And yet they only seem to show up when the victim is black.
I have yet to see one of you wait and see folks pull this in a thread where a cop is assaulted, shot, or killed.
That thread where the corrupt cop killed himself and tried to make it look like so black people did it, is a perfect example.
