Greatest GOB moment: giving the sexual harrassment speech to the stunned and scared looking Bluth Company staff before the christmas party

2nd greatest GOB moment: he and Tobias leaving the coffee shop and Michael mistaking the situation into thinking they actually had a decent business plan for Gobias Industries. Just the two of them walking out trying not to let Michael realize they were just there for coffee cracks me up beyond belief. :lol

I doubt there will ever be a better GOB moment than the first time he goes full out magician with Final Countdown (I assume that's the name of his tune?) blaring.

I still haven't found a decent Final Countdown ringtone. :(

Does your phone play mp3s? I made a 40 second mp3 from the original song that plays on my phone. If your phone can play mp3s I can send you it.

I'm surprised no one said this line yet:

"I want her to think that I'm not only a man, but a man's man"
"I think she gets that."

Or however it went, but that was hilarious...Tobias rocks. :lol

Actually, I think he yelled out "Mother!! ... Mother!!", but he did it exactly like one would yell "Medic" and he had his army uniform on too.

HOLY SHIT!

I just got done watching the first episode. You know how when you get into a series past the first season, and then you see the first episode, and the writing isn't sharp partly because they have to introduce and then develop their characters? And you know how the characters always look different, whether it's hairstyle or the way they dress?

Honest to God, the pilot episode could've been a Season 2 episode and I wouldn't have noticed any difference. This honestly might be one of the best sitcoms of all time. I'm just so fucking blown away at how fucking terrific the pilot was.

"This is the magic trick, huh?"
"Illusion, Michael. A trick is something a whore does for money."
*a row of kids standing right next to them gasp in unison*
"....or candy!"

"...they cannot arrest a husband and wife for the same crime..." *smirk*
"Yeah, I don't think that that's true, dad."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
".....I got the worst f*cking attourneys." *buries head in hands*

"OH MY GOD, WE'RE HAVING A FIRE... sale...."

:lol :lol :lol

edit: Jesus Christ

First there's the scene with GOB trying to throw the letter into the sea.

Then he takes the dead FROZEN dove that he accidentally killed, and while throwing it into the ocean, shouts, "RETURN FROM WENCE YOU CAME!"

By that point I was literally, actually crying from laughter.

And then he just drops the dead bunny in the wake and it starts drifting to the side of the screen.

I'm not going to bump this thread after I watch every episode, but I think by the end of tomorrow, this show will be in my top 5 favorite shows of all time.

I have been saying it all along, the attention to detail and continuity is unmatched, I can't express my love for this show enough, man, this threat has reminded me, I need to watch theis last eppisode again.

I LOVE THIS SHOW.

If Fox cancels it, heads will roll. Same with 24.

Holy crap...
I watched it twice (all the way) before posting that, I just went back trying to hear "mother" and you're right.

I feel so dumb.

Not sure what episode you're on, (I'm assuming you've just watched the first two) but by the third episode, this show was already in my Top 5. I have never laughed so hard at a comedy as I did during the part when Buster goes on a rant against his Mother and they bleep out most of the words.

Finally got to watch it last night. Great, great episode.

The interactions between Michael and George-Michael could easily be it's own show.

Oh my god, I just watched all of season 2 last night (after I watched the entire 1st season on dvd the night before) and this is like the second greatest comedy ever!

Season 2 just gets better and better. Gob is absolutely hillarious in the last couple of episodes.

Tell all your friends to watch AD!

I do, but most of them never watch it and the most of the few people who do don't seem to like it. :(

Was it just me or did George Michael have a look of disgust on his face after Ann kissed him?

:lol The uncensored pilot version has him say "... or cocaine" instead. Right then and there I knew Gob would be my favorite character.

He just looked surprised, to me. No hint of disgust.

I saw an AD DVD at a party and I pointed out how awesome it being there was. The girl I was talking to at the time didn't know what it was. I walked away. :lol

In this one, was Gob saying "Stainy and smooth" or "Satiny and smooth". I've been going over that point many times but not been able to make it out properly.

Best running joke from season 1 was the "No touching!" thing.

I'm liking how Oscar gets his ass beat by the policemen everytime he goes in public, and then the last cop (the Mr. Show alumni) has to go "YEAH!"

Gob's best moment is in the episode they played as the season finale where Bluth Sr. has a heart attack and escapes from the hospital. It's such a great sequence, he goes from complete confidence ("I'm the oldest brother; I'm in charge now.") to the exact opposite ("Why should I have the responsibility? No, I'm out!") in a period of fifteen seconds. Gob rocks. I think Season 1 is better than 2 thus far, but S2 has still been pretty good.

Brian: I got a ringtone from IntestineBoy (thanks!), but it's not to my liking. I wish I had an mp3 phone, then it'd be easy to get a proper one.

Not enough people are watching this show. Out of all my friends, only two have seen it, and neither watch it consistently. They didn't even consider watching it until I brought over the DVDs and played it at one of the guys' home. Both acknowledged its greatness afterward, but they still don't watch new eps on Sundays. Cry.

Yes the character does rock, but very few people could have done that scene (and the character in general) as well as Will Arnett has. He's just perfect as GOB.

Sadly this is the same experience I have had. I think it could do a lot better if it got some freakin ads though. Fox never shows ads for this show. Considering how shitty Fox is, I think they will drop it after season 3 and replace it with some retarded reality show about monkeys which will somehow be number one in the ratings. :(

Only TV i make sure i watch each episode. hopefully we get a season 3

Gob:It will take a lot more than a heart attack to kill that old bear. Old bear! He likes the honey. He never got a chance to see my bee business take off.
-
Kitty: GOB, this is your time. With my help, knowing what I know, we could take over the Bluth Company together.
GOB: Wow, this is a side of you I'd never noticed before. Have they always been that big?

He was born for the role. I saw him on that celebrity poker show hosted by the guy from Kids in the Hall, he seems to be just as much of an ass in real life. :lol

BTW GUYS JEFFREY TAMBOR ON CONAN TONIGHT WATCH IT!

Edit: This just hit me all of a sudden, what happened to Annyong? I know Lucille said something about sending him off somewhere. I hope we see him again.

"I do it! I play Uncle Sam! Better than part I have now, 'guy who order strike on Pearl Harbor'." :lol

Annyong is at the Milford Academy.

my favorite running gag by far has been the blue paint marks all over the house this year.. Everytime my wife or I see them we point them out.. they are always great.

though my favorite scene this year... I spit beer out of my nose and started crying it was so god damn funny.... was when they were "burying" Geroge Sr. and Gob was knocked into the coffin, the fake back popped out and he fell into the grave, the coffin fell on top of him, and then the digger dropped all of the dirt on him, all to the tune of Final Countdown... I think a little bit of pee may have come out of me at that point also.. I couldn't breathe.

I think episode 6 of season 2 was the best one so far. Lucille getting baked, Oscars joke about the brownie and the ending sequence were GOLD.

That was the best one this season if only for Gob's sexual harrasment speech:

"And please refrain from discussing or engaging in any sort of interoffice (bleep)ing or (bleep)ing or finger(bleep) or (bleep)sting or (bleep)ing or even (bleep), even though so many people in this office are begging for it. And if anybody does anything with my sister Lindsay, I'll take off my pants, I'll shave my (bleep). And I'll personally (bleep) you in the (bleep)."

Where did those first two quotes come from? I don't seem to remember them. Were they in those parts about "On the next episode". Sometimes they've been cut off from the torrent files.
