It's using an inherently ridiculous premise to make that claim, but the ridiculous premise invalidates any conclusion -- positive OR negative. This graph does not prove the Xbone is eventually going to win, but neither does it prove the Xbone is eventually going to lose.
In other words, it's a bad article.
While assuming the PS4 also has exponential growth.

The assumption is also broken for the baseline, so this isn't a relevant or useful comparison. "GAF" can understand that perfectly well.

This reveals nothing.
This. This article revolves around an inherently flawed analysis. There is no reason to defend it.
 
Yea it doesn't.

It's literally saying that the Xbone needs 10 years of exponential rate of growth to hit PS4 sales on the same trend.

Thus revealing how large an absolute lead there is.

And yet GAF can't understand that.
